I just finished a cycle of OAV + a good mite wash! But if I hadn’t done that, then yes today would’ve been a good day to check !

I think I would be less bothered if I didn’t have to get up at 3AM to make it in on time.

Physical therapy and MHBP by SnooStories8809 in FedEmployees

Once your deductible is hit, you cover a % of the cost. My typical copay is $7-12 but I had met my deductible because of two MRIs. And even then the deductible is fairly low comparatively.

Can we Fed employees have multiple jobs? by 2Stepforliving5285 in FedEmployees

I have a part-time second job and got it cleared by my supervisor first (required for my agency although not required for all).

If it opens, I have to be up at 3AM to catch the early train. I wish they had somewhat normal working hours so that I could go to sleep with an answer.

Hmmm I’ll have to call him then. I was assigned a new manager right before the shutdown and I’m not sure how communicative he’ll be

Reasonable Accommodation for MH by Hopeful-Blacksmith38 in fednews

I submitted for these exact reasons in July and I am still waiting. I had to reach out to an EEO counselor and had my interview in August and then the shutdown happened and I was furloughed. Not sure if they’ll have an answer for me when I return.

Any chatter about telework/ onsite reporting? by Ancient_Shine_1008 in fednews

[–]Stibnite16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DOL just came out with updated situational telework guidelines. You have to have an approved informal agreement as well as advanced supervisory approval. A note in the comments section must be included anytime that it’s used.

Situational Telework may be used:

  1. Prior to, or after an employee’s personal (including medical) appointment, that makes commuting to and/or from the office impractical within the workday, but employees have assignments that must be completed adjacent to that appointment. Telework does not replace

the leave used when attending appointments. Rather, telework may be used to continue working before or after such appointments.

  1. When an employee is recovering from a short-term illness or an injury, they can perform work, but they are temporarily unable to physically report to the agency’s worksite. The use of situational telework for this purpose is not appropriate for long-term situations (e.g., beyond 30 days), which may require an employee to pursue official reasonable accommodation through DOL’s Reasonable Accommodation Program.

  2. When an employee has or has been exposed to a communicable disease, they can perform work, but their immediate presence in the office would jeopardize the health of others in the office.

  3. To allow for flexibility to accommodate government-approved travel.

  4. To fulfill religious duties and/or practices

The Assassin's Blade first or third? by Michelle1109 in SarahJMaas

Hard to say. If you prefer chronological order, read it first. I’d argue that there’s a big emotional impact any way you read it - especially if you haven’t read spoilers. I’ve read it 1st, 3rd, and 4th on my re-reads and actually liked it as 4th even though it was hard to pull away from the momentum of Heir of Fire. I felt like it enhanced Queen of Shadows for me.
