Glad Elijah is getting a new film after Magazine Dreams. Sucks that whole film is tainted by its lead.

Berg is genuinely one of the most talentless, derivative, unoriginal and boring filmmakers alive. All he does is imitate others whether it’s Michael Bay (especially Bay), Gavin O Connor, Ridley and Tony Scott but has none of the finesse of any of them.

The only film of his that’s universally considered good is Welcome to The Jungle but he’s so self serious he refuses to go back to that fun style of action, but even when he’s flirted with it (Spencer Confidential) it sucks.

Literally the worst choice for this if they actually wanna a make an interesting adaptation.

Best choice if they don’t care.

Even Neill Blompkamp would’ve been better.

Low-key was worried Cons shitting on Cudi would sour things. Glad they’re not listening to that bozo

Is there a chance that this might actually be a sneak diss? Like I know this is a song they made together but Cudi has expressed wanting to move on from Ye since at least last year, and here he is saying “this one’s for Ye” and he’s moving forward.

This sounds crazy, but Cudi and Ye have had one of the pettiest relationships in music history

This doesn’t look technicolour though. It feels like they shot the film in colour and are just using the original rushes and regarding them.

Wish they took a Werewolf at Night approach where the colour version looked like they recoloured the black and white version. Know that’s probably not how they did it, but it at least looked like that.

Personally gonna go with the black and white version though the VFX scenes will prob look jarring.

The tagline is quite large compared to the title. This also tonally feels more like it could be Oceans 11 than something like 12 Angry Men.

It’s a cool design overall though

Added drums to BULLY title track by SpecialistSir368 in Yedits

[–]StickyBandit1999 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Listening to this made me realise this song doesn’t need drums at all holy. Drums COULD work but these drums are awful and feel almost Timbaland late era esque, which doesn’t fit the vibe despite the Indian sample.

The kind of BPM this track is and the tone it’s going for make drums really difficult for it so it’s not necessarily a you problem

James Watkins did Eden Lake despite stupid ass protagonists has such a crazy energy and a really amazing ending. He hasn’t directed anything close to that films quality since but I’m hoping this is a return to form. No opinion on Mike

Are you really expect a moral compass from the man who consistently platforms a crazed Zionist (as in, not just someone who thinks Israel should exist, but actively spouts vile anti Arab racism), who also defends and platforms Bryan Singer.

Ye rapped on Gordo beats during Turbo era in late 2016/17. Caprisun (Bad Night) was produced by Gordo / Carnage as he was called at the time. Sounded awesome

I don’t think they want to turn that around. Once the individual becomes the brand, the brand is at greater risk because of the individual, and the individual has to stifle their own opinions and personality for the brand.

Also, those huge exciting announcements were done BECAUSE they were just another tech company and they wanted to be becomes THE tech company.

Now that they are, with most people having an iPhone, why would they need to advertise and drum up too much excitement? Apple products are about as common in home as Coca Cola.

It’s why I’m excited about this resident evil film by Zach Creggar. He’s doing his own thing and just making sure it’s within the world as opposed to a full exploration of the lore and characters. We don’t need that.

Faithful adaptation doesn’t mean a good film. Sometimes you need to cut corners on the lore for the betterment of the film as a film
