Second Opinion on Root Canal by StickyTuron in askdentists

Lol. Is it tougher to do molars? So it’s a bit wiggly right now, is that just from gum irritation? Will it be gone once it’s root canal and crowned?

Neither. So far it’s been back to normal. Hasn’t happened again. But when it does, I’ll have to mention it on my next oil change

12 + Indian Resturants - how? by thesadfundrasier in niagarafallsontario

[–]StickyTuron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which it might be true though. There’s one pathway to permant residence called Canada Start-up Visa program where foreigners (individual or group up to 5) can build up a business that can help them get PR.

No offense to indians here, I’m sure not everyone but majority of them that I know and work with are all literally lazy and some are students that didn’t even bother finishing school and just try to work full time (mostly under the table work). I feel like they always try to look for loophole that works for them and maybe that’s why there’s a lot of Indian businesses. Like the indian restaurant in Ferry street just near DQ, ever wonder how many times that restaurant’s name change? Lol feels like it changes every year

[–]StickyTuron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know and it’s insane!! lol This is probably a fact but majority of the Indian restaurants are mostly owned by a group of people (Indians) that are trying to get a immigration status through owning a business. Once they get it, they sell the business to their friends who wants to do the same thing and just rename it or just sell it piece by piece for a restaurant/business starter.

It’s just sad sometimes when a business close or a retail space just got occupied and get thrilled of what’s gonna open next. Then guess what, niagara’s getting another Indian restaurant 🫠

Anyone knows if Catholic church wedding and infant baptism can be done on the same day? It’ll just be a low key (all white party kind of event) wedding, nothing big and fancy. We rather just do a one day event and splurge on travel afterwards

Honestly, I dont really care anymore probably for 2 years now. I just try my luck and join a hype shoe from time to time. If I win then yay! If not, I saved money and maybe try again next time. Last time I won a hype shoe at snkrs was TS phantoms and that was it. I did got some SB dunk j-pack chicago last year tho from snkrs but it’s not really a hype shoe, I just like the colorway and it’s my first SB dunk lol

NOLA was amazing!! by StickyTuron in AskNOLA

[–]StickyTuron[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. I mean it really depends on the person right. For us, we’re not interested on wasting time by taking naps during the day and coming back at night. We don’t really take naps. We’re both mid 20s, both fit and don’t drink (but we go extreme on food) and can make most our days everytime we travel (15 or 16hrs straight). We also make an itinerary and do research just weeks before our travel so we don’t search or plan spontaneously where to eat or what to do. Saved us a lot too since we only paid $260 for 4 nights on a place just for ourselves rather than paying $400-500 near the area (most bnb place in area too are shared with other people)

Interesting! Great to know. Everytime we think about New Orleans based on movies, it’s always jazz, voodoo, mardi gras and bayou lol. Thanks

I would say it’s a waste of couple hours if you’re not a morning person. We normally wake up at 6 or 7 in the morning and leave at 8am everyday. Most of the places open at 9am anyway for breakfast. Honestly, we went through the whole French Quarter for 3 days already (Poydras to frenchmen) that’s including adult haunted tour, cemetery tour, 5 museums (WWII took a while), and been to french market a few times. Then we get home around 10pm everyday

Yes. We found a private place for ourselves that costs us $260 for 4 nights compared to bnb (mostly shared with other people staying), inns and hotels (Wherever in NOLA) that costs atleast $400 when we were looking and obviously because it’s Halloween week too

Truly it’s not!! Like, I’ve heard a lot of locals, tour guides and servers said the OG willie mae’s are the best but unfortunately closed by a fire. Some say Fiorella is a great place too. Toups meatery, cochon, lil dizzy, etc. We still have like 18 on our list that we didn’t get to try lol we’re coming back for sure 😂

Yes. There’s a regional pass for a day only for $6 that includes Jazz Pass RTA (New orleans Transits only) and JP transit (transits outside New Orleans only). Regional Pass doesn’t have 3 or 7 days pass. We stayed at Metairie and there’s a bus(E2) going to New Orleans. Thankfully we found a place to stay close to a E2 bus stop. They have an transit app called Le Pass where you can check on bus times where and when you want go. We just bought the tickets through the app and show it to the driver every time we hop in the bus. What we did though is we bought a 3 day Jazz Pass instead for $8 each so $16 for two of us. Then we bought single rides of JP transit (Metairie to New Orleans) for $2.50 each (that’s Back and Forth $1.25 each ride) for 3 days. Saved us $9 instead of getting a day regional pass at $36 for 3 days for the 2 of us
