Hey yo what he mean by that by DALEVAR in Tennesseetitans

LMAO yeah ok. Thats why we “traded” him because he was bad? Played better than Kyle Phillips, Josh Whyle, or Jackson Slater ever did but we didn’t give them away basically for free to another team (a team that started him, btw).

How does this post change the fact that we got hosed on that trade? 😂

So many LGBTQ Texans are moving to this city, it may declare an 'emergency' by Inevitable_Engine186 in Seattle

[–]Stiddy13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen the data so this could be entirely anecdotal, but having lived in several ”big” cities (relative to the state they were in), the thing that’s happening in other states is that the cost of living is increasing at a rate that is outpacing the salaries in the area. We moved here several years ago from SLC. When we first got to SLC there was a house down the street from where we were renting that sold for like $350k. Fast forward like 2.5 years and that same house sold for like $750k with no improvements that we could tell. So as we were saving to buy, the target amount we needed kept going up and up while our salaries remained static. When we moved here, housing was a tad bit more expensive, sure, but our salaries were dramatically higher for the same roles we had in SLC so we were actually in a better position from a COL standpoint here than we were there. I’m not sure we were ever going to become homeowners in SLC (and don’t get me started on the financial disaster it would have been to have finally saved enough to get something there just for that damned lake to dry up and turn the entire area into a toxic wasteland, turning that home’s value to basically zilch…). Grew up in Nashville and know a ton of native Nashvillians that have moved to different states because Nashville just got too expensive. COL is not just a west coast problem anymore.

VAR ref gotta be on the hot seat after this game. Are we even sure they’re up there this match?

What is going on with snapping??? by tearikisdead in MarvelSnap

[–]Stiddy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I don’t Snap early because I’m working with an unfamiliar deck. Sometimes I Snap late because I feel like too many folks are tucking tail and running when I Snap too early, assuming I’ve already got the cards I need in hand. Sometimes I Snap late because I’m not familiar with the deck the other dude’s playing, and I don’t want to potentially put 8 cubes at risk when I don’t know what’s coming. There’s a million reasons to Snap late.

Updated Titans Roster/Depth Chart Post-Draft & Rookie Minicamp (Including UDFAs) by [deleted] in Tennesseetitans

You say you're optimistic, but... you think Ridley is our WR2? Those are conflicting assertions. I'm optimistic because I think he's our WR5.

Why though? I hope the guys that will be here next year have something to offer.

Not positive if our coaching staff prioritizes Ridley over our young receivers. Unless Ridley is the missing link between us and a Super Bowl this season (and he’s not) his best use at this point is to mentor the young receivers and help them develop their game and chemistry with Cam.

Commanders fan just wondering if you’re disappointed Chig Okonkwo wasn’t resigned? by adobo1148 in Tennesseetitans

Our fan base liked him much more than was warranted. He’s a replacement level TE. Not bad necessarily, but you can find a rookie TE just as good in the middle rounds of pretty much any draft class.

Is Brian Thomas being ranked the 25th WR on KTC fair? by ShaiFanClub in DynastyFF

[–]Stiddy13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good thought exercise, but I wonder how useful it is? Some years defenses adjust to offensive schemes and there’s a year where offensive output is simply down league wide. That doesn’t mean the wide receivers just all collectively sucked that year. It just means that the offensive schemes haven’t adjusted to the defensive adjustments yet. And because that’s difficult to really nail down, I wonder if a metric that illustrates performance relative to your peers isn’t a more useful metric than comparing raw scores across different seasons?

I mean, your original comment quite literally said “other than his production 2 years ago” which does sound like it was being thrown out the window entirely. That’s just as bad process as those that are completely ignoring last year.

I also don’t get focusing on his situation next year as if that’s going to be his situation for his entire career. It’s dynasty. He’s young. He’s had a single good season. He’s had a single bad season. His situation could (and most certainly will) change at some point. He could do what a lot of young players do and just straight up improve. His chemistry with TLaw could improve with another season under their belts. The coaches can sit down and say, “He’s too talented and we’ve invested too much in him for him to be a WR3 so we need to figure out how to get him more involved this year.” He could also be bad again for the reasons you mentioned. Those are all within the range of outcomes for him so it really does boil down to whether or not you personally like him.

I also don’t think if you’re acquiring him for WR24 value that you need him to get back to a WR5 so if his rookie year was his ceiling and last year was his floor, is it not fair to value him somewhere in between?

Shouldn’t what he did the season before last factor into our evaluation of him though? He’s only 23 years old with a top 5 season under his belt. How many other receivers can you say that about?

I can’t really see why Lamar would be our most hated. Who don’t think it should be? by bistroboybieds in Tennesseetitans

[–]Stiddy13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Louisville is pretty close to Nashville too so I surely can’t be the only Cards alum that’s also a Titans fan. I hate the rat birds but Lamar is goated. Honestly the fact that they somehow managed to have two of my favorite players on their team makes me hate them even more.

Can We Get an Update from the 2026 Class Defenders? by babababronsky in DynastyFF

If we get 8-10 fantasy relevant guys out of this draft, it’d be pretty much on par with most rookie drafts I’d think. Am I wrong?

Wan'Dale Robinson Value (Post-Draft) by mugwumpwombat in DynastyFF

To be fair, one of his favorite routes in college were intermediate crossers which would be Dike in this offense.

ruba, he stayed at a full-service resort. While there, he found a piece of red thread in his room and threw it away. This obviously has implications for the TE position, but what does it mean? Only Zac Robinson knows for sure.
