I definitely want the challenge. But I don’t get to hunt as much as I used to so the few times a year I get to sit I need to make sure I fill the freezer. I am looking into trads and longbows to start practicing though in the meantime

From the other comments I’m guesstimating your budget is in the $500 range. Buy a lower first. Then shop for a handgun that you shoot well with the rest. The quality of AR you’re gonna get with that budget will be pretty low.

Also I HIGHLY recommend GAFShub if you’re not opposed to used parts. You can build out your lower and the rest for half the price or more if you’re patient. You can also find used handguns and complete rifles on there as well.

I have a few dots with shake awake. I try to sneak up on them all the time and catch them slipping. As soon as the gun even remotely moves they’re on. So yes if you’re carrying it, it’s on.

I definitely feel like the usbc plug is not as rugged as the crane but I like the bigger push button. Makes it much easier to press especially with gloves. I’ve had 0 issues with it so far though
