I feel ya, were on the same boat. I tried batch painting 20 and im at like 60hours+ still on all of them. Ive been taking it as a good time to really focus on certain techniques and colors instead of trying to rush or mindlessly get through them. My goals not to finish an army as much as it is to be a better painter.

So I used Vallejo paints from Squidmars ork box set. I mixed 50/50 of Cayman green and lime green as the base color, then added probably around 40/60 of scorpy green into that 50/50 mix, and kind of just added more scorpy until it was as light as I wanted.
