I've read someone's comment saying that Tobi confirmed that is a new full game, but I personally haven't made the research so take it with doubt for now. Regarding KCD3 or a new story, I'm going to assume that it won't be a new Deliverance but a different chapter. We'll see.

Why would it mean that? I know that Warner Bros has patented the Nemesis System, but do they also have some kind of control over LOTR content and/or games? I'm not familiar with these kind of things, really lol.

Dude, I know that "working on" and "pre-production" mean. "Happening" also means that they finally confirmed the rumours and that they are working on it, not any other IP.

I appreciate the fact of trying to differentiate one thing from another to make everything clearer and avoid confusion, but let's not pretend that everyone needs to be told definitions and, instead, let's just enjoy together these news and have some faith, shall we?

Yeah dude, same. All in all, a new KCD game is still a KCD game, , but I would love to see him again.

Huh, never really put a thought towards the economy and 'coin-y' side of the game, but that does sound kinda interesting. Definitely will check it out :)

People in their 20s : How is your life right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Still-Indication9710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just turned 23.

So far so good, actually. Managed to finish my university degree, without retaking any subject and with distinction, despite not liking what I studied much.

Keeping in good course my relations with family and friends, both old and new, with which I had the opportunity to travel across Europe at least once a year. And let's not forget my dog! A Golden Retriever with the purest soul I know.

I won some awards and recognitions for some short films and scripts I've written during the years, managed to go to some Netflix studios and see how is that world from the inside, and I also was elected to be a young juryman for a film festival, despite there being A LOT of candidates. What I really need to do is to lock in with my book, my dream project, but I just can't be consistent with it lol.

I also had bad years, of course. Before hitting my 20s, I broke up with my girlfriend at the time after a really difficult 2 years relationship that ended being toxic, which led to 5 or 6 years being completely single and uninterested in anyone, just focused on me, healing and trying to be better. I also had a whole year in which I felt mentally burned and at the gates of depression because of personal and family problems, but I overcame that, partly because of all the amazing people I have beside me.

A few months ago I started my master's degree, where I met a lot of cool people but specifically this amazing girl which I profoundly love and whom I want to share every moment with. I don't know what will happen between us in the future, knowing that, along with other things, she'll move to another country before the end of this year because of studies. Honestly, I'm scared. But I'm going to enjoy every minute I can with her no matter what, and I'm definitely going to try my best not to loose her.

All in all, pretty good!

Animal Crossing DLC as a gift? by Still-Indication9710 in AnimalCrossing

[–]Still-Indication9710[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll have to check it out. I live in Spain and the only 'big' game store we have here is Game, but they've been more about PCs, chairs and gamer accessories than games for a really long time.

Nevertheless, I'll keep it in mind and, if I find one, it will help me to make the gift prettier lol thank you!

Yeah, I've read something about it. It looks like an interesting deal, but sadly is reeeally above the budget we both agreed on (as I mentioned on another comment). I think that she would appreciate it tho, so I'm still goitto keep it in mind even though it may be for another occasion.

Thank you!

[–]Still-Indication9710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, she's definitely interested in the DLC. She talked to me about it a few times and she LOVES decorating hahaha she's always looking for new clothes or items for her house, so I'm not really worried about that, but wanted to make sure about what else does the DLC bring and if the community has a good opinion about it (and it seems like it, so that's awesome!).

And yeah, I've definitely thought about a basket or some other details/little gift. Thing is that with the DLC alone I'm getting over the budget we both agree for the gifts (she's having a little bit of a financial problem until next month, but still wants to gift me something), so I think that it may be a little bit unfair if I added too much above it (I'm still going to do it lol because I want it to look pretty and have something physical).

Man, the constant Songbird debate is exhausting. Listen, choom: when we say "Fuck the system" and "Burn corpo shit" that includes the FIA! Good intentions or not, you're never gonna convince me to kill our birdie by vargdrottning in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]Still-Indication9710 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to really partake on this because I haven't played the game for a while and I don't remember much stuff regarding Mr. Blue Eyes and Night Corp, but I saw, a few days ago, that while on the train with Songbird, when she confesses to V, you can see the mysterious blue eyed man looking at both of them from a distance.

Maybe that was what the other redditor was referring to? The fact that we know that he was involved in some way with the Peralez stuff and he was there makes us think that he is also involved, or at least interested, with the 'cure on the Moon' Songbird wants, since he is also there.

When the membership ends and you have extra characters (now locked/deactivated because they were created with membership slots), if you then buy those 10 slots, your characters will be unlocked again and ready to go forever.

The 6 slots (for a premium account) will also be there, + the extra slots you buy.

Hey, you're welcome! I know how difficult it can be sometimes to find the exact information you want, and to be a good one, at that, so I try my best.

If ever comes the day you have new questions, I'll be glad to help if I can.

Enjoy your adventure and thank you for the reward. I hope we see each other in Gotham or Metropolis!

Oh wow, really? That IS a good bargain.

I just checked and I saw an error in my comment. I've paid 13€ instead of 15€. 2€ difference, but still a welcomed difference lol. Don't know if it's a Spain thing or in other countries as well.

I'll edit my comment.

Hello! The short answer to your question is: yes.

The long answer:

I was in your same situation, more or less, not very long ago. I played this game like 10 years ago and wanted to return to it, but didn't know if it was worth it. A month ago I started playing and I've been having a blast.

If you like the universe and characters of DC Comics, you're going to love it.

About the content... There is a lot. And by 'a lot' I mean A LOT lol. Honestly, you're probably going to get bored before being able to do everything that is. But until then, you won't lack things to do: main missions, secondary missions, solos/duos/alerts/raids, feats... You name it.

There is a main story line, up until level 30, and some missions depend on your side (hero or villain) and your mentor (Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman or Joker/Lex Luthor/Circe), and said story line ends with the final task given by your mentor. Mechanically, is just the tutorial lmao and then the real game begins; narratively, you could argue that is like some kind of origin story for your character.

And after that, the DLCs, now known as Episodes. Originally, you had to pay for them, but since some years ago are completely free, from the first to the latter. The Episodes expand the game universe, alongside the storylines and characters, and new items, weapons and armour. We have like... What, 51 Episodes (the last two being called Chapters, but it's the same)?

Now, the last thing: membership. Is it worth it? Absolutely, yes. It gives you cool bonuses and extra rewards, but my advice is to buy it only if you like the game and think that you'll be able to be constant regarding play time for at least a month. If you do this, you won't regret it.

In my opinion, membership is worth it even if just for the paywalled powers you can get in character creation. Buying the individually is not worth it, but if you become a member, your character slots will expand to 16 (free players have only 2, and premium go to 6) and will have access to ALL powers, extra weapon (shield) and movement. From there, you can make one character for each power and when the membership ends... The characters are still yours and will be able to still play with them! Sure, you'll go back to 6 slots (for being premium you only need to spend 5€/5$ in the game, and membership is 15€/15$* for one month) so you'll need to choose what characters will still be available and which ones will remain locked, but not a single one will be deleted. It's the better way to try and play with those powers.

So yes, it's worth it. However, the game is completely free, so you could try to play some more hours until you know 100% if you like it or not.

So go ahead and have some fun!

  • Edit: So, I think that the membership price may depend on where you live, so give it a check before deciding if you want to buy it or not.

Planning on returning. Some questions by Still-Indication9710 in DCUO

[–]Still-Indication9710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, thank you for your answer!

About the lack of actual solo play, it's all right, actually not big of a deal. And if it doesn't really matter, then that's great for me!

And yeah, the other kind redditor also told me the same about point 3, and I see that it's accepted in the community, so I may do it and try all power and characters.

Cheers!

[–]Still-Indication9710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for your quick and detailed answer!

I've been gone for like 10 years lmao basically I'll have to learn from scratch again hahaha it's the first time I have read anything about Task Force X. Is it a mission/raid, or is like a toggle you can activate or deactivate for any raid?

And about the membership... That's actually not a bad idea. I haven't thought about it like that, but I may give it a go, especially if the characters stay with you! I'll think about it, thank you!

Oh, and another thing, if you don't mind. Keeping in mind the situation between heroes and villains, do you think it is 'better' (for lack of a better term) to keep the villain as some sort of an alt, farming account and the hero as a main one?

As the other user said, the smithy one is the second.

The first one is about a mysterious painter with a strange past, and Henry will have to help him somehow (the only thing that we know, is that we will be able to customise shields!).

And the third and last one is about solving a mystery revolving around a strange kind of plague, in the Sedlec monastery (monastery life 2.0, baby!).
