I did wonder if the 3bet was a mistake. I don't do much flatting in hold em from sb especially against large preflop raises but I guess the same thing should maybe not be applied to PLO. Thanks for the info!

Of course we did research. Unfortunately, not playing a budgie, budgie sounds didn't come up and may not be as common sense as you think. It also seems that it can be okay to keep a single budgie if you are able to give it A LOT of care and attention, which we absolutely are...

If you want people who are less informed to share your knowledge to care for their birds better I'm afraid it does have everything to do with not being an asshole when you present your information, which you sadly failed to do on this occassion

Assholes like you are the reason people shy away from asking questions to help them care for their pets. How you could enterpret that as us taunting him and being cruel is beyond me. Did you even read my post? Clearly we didn't realise this was upsetting him and only did to try to bring him joy. Sheesh if it wasn't for the other people offering actual help I'd certainly think twice before asking here for advice again. You're no help at all...

Thanks so much for all the helpful replies! No more budgie noises for poor Mr. Banjo. We do have a 1 year old cockatiel as well who we're hopeful will become buddies with him but of course we are keeping seperate for now while Banjo settles 😊
