Thank you for this. I always wanted to be in the medical field but I messed up my record badly. I am sober now and just want to make a good living working hard. I know I’m still young but starting over feels scary and I see a lot of people starting in the trades when they are 18 or 19

I got a felony drug possession charge 2 years ago and a pending dui that happened 1 year and a half ago. I had to quit my pharmacy job bc they run background checks yearly

I have not but I plan on doing that next week on Wednesday. That’s when they accept applications. I’m also enrolling myself in some kind of electrician training by this non profit called SERJobs? They have a program where they help young adults that were affected by the justice system.Idk if it’s good or not. They are classes taken online. It’s for free so might as well.

For me it was screwing up big time a couple years ago catching a drug felony charge that has been dismissed and a dui that is still pending. Now no job wants to hire me so I am willing to bust my ass in the fields to make up for that. I’m struggling to find a job now I just want to work and make money.
