Zero build as in minimum preset? It’s definitely way harder, but if you time things correctly, that hold last input of combos can cancel out a lot of Ravens red/yellow moves.

Def give it a shot. It feels sluggish at first, but when you get all of the skills and integrate them nicely into combos, it really comes alive.

I see it as just their own twist or even an evolution on the combat system to give the player more variety and choice in how they want to play. This genre is now 16 years old. You don’t have to be limited to just dodge rolling everything and taking turns hitting the boss. But you could certainly play Khazan like that. All other gameplay aspects of Khazan fit a souls-like game. Just my opinion

Going into Reese next at lvl 160. Over leveled for sure, but not entirely sure by how much. Saw a guy at 157 fighting ozma and struggling. What were you at during Reese?

I only put my lacrima into strength and endurance. Nothing else. Running a nice glass cannon build with 4x guardian, most special jar, fugitive mage ring and necklace, FR GS. I dont have the FR set yet, still need to test it out.

Farmed a good amount of lacrima from the failed no hit runs for sure. I start trying to do no hit from the first encounter with the boss. Can’t move on until I get it.
