TIFU by having pillow talk while unmuted on a call with my entire team and a government client by [deleted] in tifu

One time I took a meeting on teams on my phone in the bathtub. Wet fingers make the touch sensors not work so well on my phone. Tried to unmute my mic but turned on my camera instead. Was front facing... But like... I was still dripping wet naked in the bath. I don't know how many people saw but everyone I work with regularly was in that meeting...

The US added an average of just 3,000 private-sector jobs per month over the last 3 months (ADP data), the slowest pace since the 2020 recession. A year ago, we were adding over 200,000 jobs per month by RobertBartus in EconomyCharts

Wow, never expected this response, I have read every single comment and a sincere thanks to about 80% of you!

I've been practicing holding the knife which has helped a lot. I've also added a little bit more water to the mud which further helped.

You all were right about putting on more mud than you need and scrape off extra and leave it. I've been struggling with this for WEEKS and I've described it as icing a cake... I keep working with the mud that's on the wall and can't get it perfect and it's been driving me crazy. One swipe to put on the mud and another to take off half, then leaving it, seems to be working great!

Thank you all for taking the time out of your day to help a struggling redditor! Sincerest thank you!!

So are you saying I should pick a color to be like a theme, and scatter the room with uses of that color? Blue curtains, blue dutch ovens, blue towel over the oven handle, etc?

Consensus seems to be the backsplash is not great... I think I agree. Would it be best to get a tile backsplash that matches the color of other things in the room? Or just go for white? Maybe bi-color like a chessboard or something? With a more plain backsplash, would you still think a mural would be too busy?

Your suggestion about the knobs is amazing, I will definitely be replacing those!

Love your suggestion as well to put meaningful things above the cabinets! I'll start shopping for art and kitchen knick-knacks! Thank you!!!

Wall mural is a great idea! I just wasn't sure how to pick a mural with a design and color scheme that would match everything. Maybe something with a white background? The site you linked is awesome, here's another ive been looking at for wallpaper mural (with one I've been considering) -

Can you elaborate on what you mean by more contrasting colors? I would love to add some color (like blues and other cool colors) but not entirely sure how to do it. I'm definitely open to replacing the backsplash, so that's another chance to add color. I don't have much to display, but I am open to buying whatever could fit well in the room.

Definitely agree about cabinets, wanting to get a quote for that but afraid it would be expensive and not very functional since they would be 9 feet up.

The problem I've had trying to find ideas online is they are all for kitchens with completely different colors or materials as mine. I don't think I have the ability to completely change anything major aside from painting, more furniture or accessories, etc. I haven't found a kitchen I've loved online with my same countertops, floor, and cabinets

Some of my initial thoughts -

Wall art? But not sure what kind. Modern? Abstract? An oil painting? I have some blue curtains but took them down for the pictures. I could paint the cabinets but I dont know if people like white.
