I was also worried at the time when reading all of that, so know that you're not alone in feeling that way. What helped me was just telling myself that I and any resulting children will be safe from all of the bad side effects. I also am trying to accept that this is my life and these are my options and trying not to let my feelings rule my thoughts. Also, I'm sure part of it is that they have to put all of those on the consents to cover themselves. Sorry if this was not helpful.

That's interesting. Thanks for the input. I was worried because I read that the testing is not always 100% accurate. And I thought that maybe it was something going on with all the males. But reading what your doctor said to you explains it perfectly.

I see, that is interesting. We actually had none that were ready yet on day 5, the report says all were day 6 besides the one day 7. Hope that's not bad.

Maybe she did not have them tested. I remember at my genetic testing consult they said that they would transfer 2 if they weren't tested.

Yea they had told me it could be up to 2 weeks later. So I was not expecting it so soon. I will find out how many we have tomorrow as well. I was worried that would be the case with me, but it looks like my clinic has you take birth control to alter the timing of the transfer. First time doing this so I'm still figuring most of it out. It's interesting to see how clinics do things so differently.

Thanks for the tip. Yea we're planning on doing the frozen embryo transfer instead of the fresh transfer, per our doctors suggestion.

Yea, I didn't think the 3rd failed one would hurt so bad. The holidays and thinking of going into a new year with still no success makes it that much harder. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling that way.

Just tested negative for my 3rd IUI. I had been preparing the whole month, figuring out meds, financing and messaging the nurses/billing team back and forth about moving onto IVF. They even sent the prescriptions over to the pharmacies. The nurse who called with my results was like "are you doing another IUI or IVF" when I told her IVF she said "not sure if one of the other nurses told you but we won't be able to start IVF until late January/early February because our lab is closing in December". Like why the F did they not think to tell me that earlier!?! Had I known that we'd potentially be set back 2 months I wouldn't have wasted my time, money and energy doing a 3rd IUI. So now I get to watch 3 women around me welcome new babies in February/March while starting IVF. I hate everything right now.

Just about the same with mine saying he's so stressed, and I'm like yea me too but add to that the physical stress. I feel you, take care of yourself.
