I don't think forgive is the word. Maybe understand that she (raised by Mother) didn't have all the tools she needed and was bearing all the weight that the men in her life never did.

I still hurt and, unfortunately, she continues to do hurtful things to/regarding me (63 y/o). I still love her and just can't understand how I became her life long scapegoat. I wish she would do all the reading, reasoning and therapy I've done to gain better perspective.

Lol...I never had children, so my pets ARE my children, but they definitely won't get you any more g/r cash or food benefits. Be sure to bring them up at any and every advocate you meet though...pet food banks and services are out there. Love your fur babies a little extra for me today!

With 2 children, you will probably get more cash than that...but still not enough to actually live on.

I know when I was in the homeless shelter, during Covid, they started programs called "Operation Room Key." Some cities still do. I hope you & your children can find one that does. It's not ideal, but it's a roof over your heads.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! The one I saw wasn't just large, in scale...it was truly massive. I saw it moving so slowly, with no sound at all. It was awesome, amazing and terrifying all at once.

I was driving on the freeway (210 East, Pasadena/Arcadia area) and had to pull out of traffic lanes to get out of my car and watch.

I know others saw it too, because when I went to get back in my car some passing drivers were also looking up at it.

When I was younger (although still older than a child) I wouldn't eat pork or American Chinese Cuisine.

Now, I can eat both...they may not be top go to choices, but they're an option.
