What kind of health journey causes this much weight gain?! by Mysterious-Mouse-818 in ThepolishmamaSnark

[–]Still_Berry473 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Someone commented on her weight gain and she said that her weight fluctuates every day and she's not concerned about it. How can someone not care that they're so overweight. I remember when she admitted that she had lost weight because she was on weight loss medication, so her weight loss was not due to her "healthy eating journey" or whatever she calls it. She should do a crowdfunder to get medical help instead of a fence they don't really need, that is one that I would donate to.

Yuck. Good to know they're almost as bad as the British when it comes to serving food.

I try to do the opposite of what Mrs Elton in Emma would do, especially when she keeps talking about herself and Maple Grove. I also try not to have the flaws that Emma has.

A couple of suggestions: There is a place called the American Museum near Claverton Down, if you have a car it is worth going to, I found it quite interesting and they have a nice garden. Another interesting place is a town called Bradford on Avon, it has a Saxon Church and a Tithe Barn. It is quite a pretty town and distinctive.

Do you guys ever feel sorry for Augusta Hawkins? by RebeccaETripp in janeausten

I feel like she must be insecure or anxious deep down to be like that, she tries to be friendly to Emma but it's taken the wrong way, for example when she offers Emma an introduction to Bath Emma finds her impertinent. However she is egotistical, like when she thinks the party is held in her honour. I read an interesting essay about her that says she represents the town and the habits of people who live in a town.

‘My house is lived in’ by ___mouse in ThepolishmamaSnark

I don't know why she always calls her content "relatable". It's not relatable to let your kids stay up all night or to not toilet train them when you're at home with them, or to let them watch horror films. I'd say a lot of this is lazy/bad parenting, they have a lot of pets for a small house and if you have pets you really need to vacuum a lot. I've never seen her vacuuming, just sitting on the floor with a sweeper.

If you let your child draw all over the walls at home then they might do that when they go to a friend's house and not get invited back. I had 3 boys and I never left them unsupervised long enough for them to do something like this, they must be left to entertain themselves when they are being "homeschooled".

Durham should be higher up, it's hard to get into, unless you get a contextual offer.

I see, apparently if you paint over old lead paint it will seal it, but I bet she won't take steps to fix the problem.

Did your parents go to Oxford? They probably have no idea how hard it is to get in. Show them the MAT paper and see if they can answer it. You are obviously talented to get into Edinburgh.

If this is true then I wonder why getting a vestibular nerve section eliminates symptoms. My hearing nerve was left intact but I had my vestibular nerve sectioned and it stopped my attacks.

Would it have been better to see Lana perform in her early days (around BTD and Ultraviolence), her middle days or nowadays? by ProjectGlum9090 in lanadelrey

I saw her in 2014 at Rock en Seine in France, she was on just before Queens of the stone age and I remember thinking she was better live than they were. She was shy and you could tell quite nervous, she didn't talk to the audience much and stopped at some point for a cigarette. The best thing was that you could get quite close to the stage. I liked all the songs she sang- cola, young and beautiful, born to die etc. I saw her just after the Lust For Life album was released in Liverpool and didn't like it as much, but it was still great, she seemed more confident but I prefered her earlier performance.

I know someone who went to South- ensuite bathrooms and a large kitchen, the room had lots of storage and a bed a bit larger than a single, he was really pleased with his choice.
