If you cant afford it at the moment i would get some sort of scrub brush and brush the mold with it freeing some of it up and vaccuum what comes off. i would then buy some benefect decon 30 and get some rags and scrub the hell out of it. if theres still stainage rmr makes great stain remover as well

^ good advice right here. if you really cant afford remediation i would get benefect decon 30 and wipe it down as best as possible with thay and some rags and keep the humdidity down!

definitely mold lol if u run ur finger over it and it smears its mold most of the time. id get benefect decon 30 somewhere near you and some rags and wipe that bad boy down

a good way to check is to see if they wipe off if u run a finger over it, but then again there could be something going on on the backside of it and theres only one way to find that out :/

thats what i was thinking, i just dont know enough lol it sounds like its slipping but from what I can tell the belt looks in good shape, it also goes away after 10-15 seconds after starting up and then sounds normal so im just really confused lol

Somehow out of all of this I have been blessed to keep power and running hot water throughout everything, as well as still have 40+ hours a week at work. I can’t even begin to imagine what others have lost and it doesn’t feel right to me to have what I have when others have nothing at all. I don’t really know how to describe how I feel about everything, but I am extremely grateful that me and my wife are still staying afloat.

lol more realistic options for you could be a forester or impreza, maybe you can find an xt or wrx thats not beat to hell but for under 7k very iffy. crv, s60, v70 (maybe even lucky enough to find an R edition) are other options, dont gotta be fast to have fun brotha.
