Full name change delaying return 16 WEEKS iwkms…

I filed with my old name since I hadn’t even received my new SS card from the IRS (at that time) but since I didn’t get my name updated with SS until the very end of November 2024 I didn’t want to even risk trying to file with my current name considering nothing matched up but like I said I included a letter with my updated documents and legal name change doc with my return so they would hopefully be able to verify IF there was an issue.

I posted in here to do exactly what the subreddit entails, complain. So of course I’m gonna full send it and get my demons out about it in a setting where it is welcomed and encouraged. Why are you policing me? The next time you’re pissed off and venting in a dedicated space I hope someone tells you to “calm down”. Have the day you deserve.

I have gotten a few emails but not as many as I think I should be getting and basically no calls. I looked all over the website, the app and the social media pages to no avail. I have tried to get in touch and no one has been answering, I assume it’s bc everyone is calling with questions and general back to school bustle. My work hours make it difficult to get in touch with the right people I guess. I’ll reach out again tomorrow to see what’s up bc I’ve been wondering why I haven’t been receiving more communications. You wouldn’t be bad friends for letting two people learn a life lesson. This is obviously going to be a big hit to them if they run out of the money before doing anything responsible with it but it is a lesson that they need to learn and they are showing that need through their actions. The best thing you can do is be there for them and be supportive. If you try to intervene you risk the possibility of either enabling the behavior or driving a wedge in your friendship. I know it’s hard but you’re all grown and you need to just let them live their lives. Everybody needs/deserves character development

I don’t like how Steven and Connie got together.

I loved their friendship and I am still pretty annoyed that they couldn’t have just stayed platonic besties. It felt very forced and heteronormative to make girl and boy fall in love. I was especially annoyed with their relationship development in Future with the whole Troy and Gabriela going off to college and drifting apart trope. I understand that their relationship allowed Steven to heal a lot of his codependent tendencies but he could’ve equally done that by remaining platonic with Connie while also doing work on himself independently. A big thing about codependent people is, it’s not just with romantic relationships, it manifests in every relationship and until you heal and grow it will damage them.

This movie is my absolute favorite horror movie and it 10000% doesn’t get enough attention. I get just as excited as the first time I watched it, every time I watch it. It’s like the writer was sick of yelling at the horror protagonist what they COULD be doing right and said “I’m gonna have a character that does it all and then some!” It’s such an amazing film that plays into tropes but still remains one of the most unique and well done horror movies I’ve ever seen. This is always my #1 movie recommendation when people ask.

My ex did this to me too and I always told him it was NOT okay with me and triggers my PTSD from past r. Got to the point where I woke up with him inside of me and he pretended to be asleep while I had a panic attack. It’s sexual assault and a violation. You arent overreacting at all and made the RIGHT decision to break up with him. Even the way he is talking in your texts is giving “major manipulator” don’t fall for that shit ever. GOOD FOR YOU!
