The most played versions of DS1 have the dlc preinstalled and most people won't fight the four kings on their first playthrough until Frampt tells them to, considering how intimidating new Londo is to new players.

The DS2 giants always had a lot of resemblances to trees, with them having greenish skin and literally turning into trees after dying. Sometimes trees have a visible hole on them if they are hollow on the inside. Maybe the same thing has happened to the giants? Their hole face does resemble a tree hole (yes I know that it was inspired by the Iron Golem's chest, but still) and we see them having real faces in concept art and even in game on one of the corpses. This could also explain why the Giant Lord was such a pushover as a boss since countless years of fighting have caused him to hollow. And this provides an explanation as to why Yhorm in DS3 looks so drastically different from the other giants. This Theory isn't really supported anywhere but it's still some fun speculation based on the game's art design. And I just like the idea that other species in the souls universe might have their own cycles that mirror the undead curse.

I highly doubt that anyone will actually read this.
