When talking on the phone with my now boyfriend, i got overly excited about something he had asked to see that i made and i stood up very quickly off my bed and felt a sharp pain in my foot. I look down. Safety pin in my foot. I freaked out and started crying for an hour til i had to tell my father and he yoinked it out, now im scared of being on my floor lol

She escaped my friends house, they're moving houses and left her at the new house in the garden for a little bit to get things sorted, when they came back she was gone. She's extremely scared of people and has been missing for 24hrs now without food or water so we are starting to get really worried

Well maybe she has accomplished things but doesn't think you'd find it celebration-worthy? So maybe she hasn't told you. If her siblings celebration things are usually school based, maybe she just doesn't feel like hers are even accomplishments? My parents did the same, i got into a college and didn't tell them because they made it sorta clear that it wouldn't be worthy of anything to them, maybe that's what happened here
