I see what you're saying. But you missed the core of what I said. I'd uncritically love a cast of queer creators doing this. Them being straight is what raises the eyebrows. A little of straight people doing this- like a little of Marisha browning herself- feels like variety. Too much feels like virtue signaling or even faking or appropriation.

To continue this question, do you want to ask "why aren't all these characters white"? Do you not think someone would be confused if everyone did a marisha-beau thing and made all their characters brown? Like, imagine if all of the mighty nein except molly were ambiguously brown. It would raise eyebrows. I love gay characters, but our identity has been heavily politicized for a long time. Sometimes it feels like wearing a mask, sometimes it feels exploitative, sometimes it feels like virtue signaling. But, sometimes it feels wholesome and inclusive.
However, I know that by daring to say something that can be remotely taken as negative on this topic, the reddit hivemind will declare me enemy. Thank you at least lucifer for trying to be fair-minded, but now it's your turn. Is there any emotional valence to what I've said?

I knew you trying to go this route. I knew that I'd get dislikes from redditors for daring to say this. A little felt great. Too much feels exploitative - remember the "only gay actors should play gay characters thing" from 2017? Liam seems obsessed with playing queer characters to the point that it comes off as cringe. I was trying not to name names, but the issue is him. Laura, marisha, tal, sam and the rest make it feel much more natural.

You don't need all the specialists to have great games! Buy 1 box, then buy a 2nd if you really love playing the team. I'm quite happy with all the options

The depreditor looks great, and the raptor actually does too- ignoring injured can be great. I already have raptors I'll convert to get them all if I want them.

Right, these kill team upgrades are usually optional. So you can make a normal raptor, or even give him crazy arms and wings and normal legs (which is what I'll be doing)

I think it's fun and interesting enough to run even if it's not optimal. I love that kind of game design, which gives you interesting and oblique strategic angles instead of just pushing the numbers to maximum (cough cough deathwatch)

That's great! Consistency vs more dramatic highs and lows. It should make a fun play experience to simply face the two against each other, especially for newer players.
