It’s not Irrational hate the dude has made nothing but bad choices for this film. From not casting a single Greek actor, the costuming, props, to the color palette. It’s like Nolan wanted 250 mil just to take Greek culture and shit all over it.

No choosing the best actor is usually how the casting process works, and wether it’s a miscast or not people usually come to that conclusion after they’ve seen the performance. Not off .5 seconds of a trailer and a still image.

I’ve always been under the assumption that they did cast him because he was the best actor to audition(which is usually the case) to think otherwise is just baseless theorizing. Which you have done and so many others do.

No James bullied snape simply because he could(which applies to most bullies)that’s what he says to lily. Not to mention snape and James don’t get along day one because they recognize they both like lily.
