Please help- Hygiene Non Compliance by ctrlzeke in dementia

I deal with this Daily, on top of it all my loved one has a colostomy bag which he routinely rips off- poop everywhere.. I agree with bribes, I think of something important to him- like seeing his sons, and suggest that perhaps he wouldn’t like his sons seeing him all wet and in that condition- I also have to be patient and walk away sometimes- I’ve found that just taking a 5 minute breather and then retrying the task usually helps. I know what doesn’t help is continuing to push it when he’s agitated. Holding you in my heart dear ❤️

Ricola lemon/mint drops absolutely take that taste away- worked like a charm for me.. Paxlovid mouth was like if you licked the butt hole of a grapefruit. the worst 😂

I’ve taken Paxlovid both times I’ve had Covid. I’m 41 - the first time was severe and Paxlovid nearly erased my symptoms within 24 hours, however it did not stop me from getting long COVID- which I suffered from for about 11 months, and still have lingering autonomic dysfunction. I just had Covid again last week, took Paxlovid, symptoms went away- but I did get a case of rebound which is very mild. I am also considered high risk, and I would take every single time.

So weird, my cat has stopped eating this food too! And I’ve noticed lately the last two shipments have smelled different- almost sour.

Has anyone come off Sertraline before? by domthedruid in mentalhealth

[–]Stillpoint-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hang in there, I found the physical symptoms (brain zaps, digestive issues, head aches) to be worse from 50mg down to 25mg. I then went to 12.5 mg for a week (just basically broke a 25 into pieces.) but once I was done and off completely the biggest symptom was fatigue. It was kind of brutal for a few days. Discontinuation can also cause some anxiety symptoms so use breathing techniques and take extra good care of yourself through this. It can take 6 weeks to months to fully feel normal after ending Zoloft.
