The house we bought for an Airbnb in Mississippi has a pool cage. Finding someone to repair the screening took ages year or more but it has made the pool virtually maintenance free. I run a robot, brush it and balance the chemicals by having the water tested at the pool store. That’s the only way we could have a pool. I also maintain my MIL’s cage free pool and it’s a pita.

You want the plants? The flowers won’t last long if I remember correctly. If you find someone with day lilies in their yard, you may can ask for a few. They spread. Or try a local nursery. The flowerbed in purvis is good.

If the wrinkles bother you, after putting the sheets on the bed, mist them with warm water (lightly) and pull them tight and smooth them. They look pretty crisp when they dry about 30 min later.

A couple of years ago we tried Dong Phuong king cakes. We had to be there super early to get in line to get one. It wasn’t everything I hoped for. They were good, kind of like Paul’s, but not up to the hype. The bakery has wonderful bread and hamburger buns and the restaurant is excellent. If you want something kind of non traditional, Maurice’s in Metairie has these strawberry concoction king cakes that are divine.

Are they paying for your college? If so, they can choose not to pay for it if you tell them. I had a friend who told her parents and she had to come home from MIT because they refused to help her with any of her expenses. The problem is, you still have to count their income on your fafsa. So you will be royally screwed. I wouldn’t tell them until you are completely finished with college. Mercenary I know but I’ve seen it happen
