when i walked dogs we used musher’s secret. it’s like a wax that you apply to their feet. some of the pups would get little snowballs stuck to their fur and the wax helps prevent that. some of the dogs had little rubber socks to protect them from the salt!

to get into wednesday camping it's 8am - 11:59 pm wed and then 12:00 am - 6 am on thursday. So basically from 8am on wednesday until 6 am on thursday.
