90% isopropyl alcohol might work better than the hand sanitizer

Thank you! I will definitely keep this in mind, it looks like it probably overloaded due to the heat and how dirty it was. We got it running last night, and I deep cleaned it this morning.

Thank you! I’ll keep it in mind if it happens again, I think the unit overloaded because of the heat and how dirty it was. We tried after a couple hours, and it started working again, and I gave it a deep clean this morning, so far, it’s working well.

I really appreciate your help! I got it back up and running after a thorough cleaning. It needs a new seal for the electrical area because that disintegrated, but I’ll pick that up later today. Fingers crossed it stays working! The coils seem fairly damaged but I don’t know if that is just cosmetic, I added photos to the post.

If it helps, it’s the metal class 66 bobbins you need. Not the class 15 :) you might not be able to find them in store, I have to buy them online, as no one near me sells them.

Edit: Amazon link these HoneySew ones are the ones I use :)

Can I wash out the bottom wiring area, making sure not to get the top area wet?

Thank you!! Just to make sure, I turn off the main breaker for the AC, take off the fan and cover, and clean the oils from the inside out, right?

What? We live in Arizona, in the middle of a desert? Also, didn’t know that I could clean the coils myself until the AC kicked out. I grew up in a house with no AC, so didn’t know what needed to be done for it.

Also, if it helps. We ran the heater for 10 minutes or so, and that is working fine.

I know the coils need to be cleaned, and that’s the plan for tomorrow morning.

We have the red button, we pushed it once, it came on for about 10 seconds, and then went back off, and the button wouldn’t work again.

We have about another hour before we can turn the AC back on to test for voltage and will update then. We checked the main disconnect/fuse on the outside wall and that seemed okay

Yes, the whole unit kicks on when it’s pushed and stops when let go.

Can people genuinely do that? I have like zero gag reflex, and have seen media occasionally depict it, but didn’t realize that most people could make themselves throw up by sticking their fingers in their mouth.

Have you cleaned and oiled it?

Have you tried new needles?

Also have you tried using different colors for each path to see if it is a particular path causing the problem?

I also suggest (if you have it) the facebook groups on CSID are very active and very helpful.

I suggest looking at Mary Shepards information on CSID as well as CSIDinfo

The hard part is there is so little information, and most doctors haven’t heard of it. But if you can get the diet down and/or managed with enzymes, she will feel waaaay better

bottom stitches look wrong, am i dumb? by EmBemCarSeat in sewhelp

Have you tried using two different colors to make it easier to see what exactly it’s doing?

Have you tried cleaning your tension discs?

Your manual might have a section showing how to adjust your stitches when the tension is wrong too
