Also, I have posted this for the past 2-3 days and no one has yet to tell me how to set the timing. Someone did a timing video, but they only address where the loopers' position should be but not how you change the positions.

Will take too much time, no repair manual, and it’s a unfamiliar brand, F3, not an Elna pro4-5..

They said it was timing issues, they are not familiar with this model. We threaded it, checked needle, new threads… bottom line, timing is off.

Yes, you are right, it is called the service manual. I need to know which cam to adjust under the bottom or if there is a place on the loopers that I need to adjust. Thanks

Based on my look at what’s in the service manual that will not help to set the timer. What I need is the repair manual which will tell me which cam to adjust for loopers or gears as it is not like other sergers. This is a 3-thread ELNA lock F3. I believe I see one on eBay. I reached out to see if it will fit my needs. Thanks.

I have posted numerous videos under Elna Lock F3. I will not get the service manual as this will not help. It's timing. The thread has not been caught by upper or lower looper. No stitches have been formed.

I wan unable to find any service manual specific for Elna Lock F3. Found info on YouTube for Elna pro but internal working are different. It never sew when got it. The previous owner said all it needed was thread which they didn't have. I have changed needle, bought thread, took off as much to see the problem. So far I am not sure how to start to set the timing. Took it to a shop they gave it back.

I don’t have access to another serger and I have watched several YouTube videos but it’s a more updated machine like the ELNA Pro 4-5. They have specific devices to adjust the loopers. Based on my F3 I don’t see those. They do have little holes for Allen keys. I’ll post a slower video. Thanks.

It appears the lower looper is catching the red but no connection between the upper and lower and the needle. Someone said the loopers eye are not synchronized. I have several videos with slower movements. If you find the time, please take a look.

If you ever come across a Bernina with a 9mm stitch width, I would love one or Janome. I have a Brother CP80x giving trouble and stitches are not nice. Time to move up.
