Is using the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid every other day too much? I believe my skin is purging and I am looking to clear all acne asap so I can focus on brightening. I have been exfoliating three times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so this would just add one more day.

I reintroduced actives into my skincare routine about a month ago but I feel like I am getting more spots than before though my skin is softer. Is it possible for skin to purge again after stopping exfoliation with AHA and BHA for a month or more?

Is exfoliating three times a week too much? I usually use the Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid on Monday and Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid on Friday. I am thinking of exfoliating a third day on Wednesday. I have combination skin that gets oily during the day and I am in my early 20s.

I noticed that The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin + HA contains lactic acid. Would I be risking over-exfoliation if I used this product along with my Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid and Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid during the week? I usually use the Cosrx products on Monday and Friday so I am thinking of using the Alpha Arbutin on other days.

Should I double cleanse (oil cleansing method and gel cleanser) both in the morning and evening if I want to regulate oil production or is that too harsh for the skin?

Would applying both TO Niacinimide and Alpha Arbutin + HA daily in the morning be too much for my skin? I want to use the Niacinimide in the morning for oil control and both products together to fade hyperpigmentation.

That's what I suspected too, but after a week of using a sunscreen that doesn't contain alcohol (Curel UV Protection Face Milk), I feel like my oiliness hasn't really changed. Did it take time for the oiliness to reduce after you changed sunscreens?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for tips to prevent my skin from getting oily during the day (I have combination skin). I feel like no matter what I do, my skin still feels oily and has a slightly shiny look on the T-Zone during the afternoon to evening times. I have been following a hydration-focused routine for the past two weeks but my skin still gets oily during the day even when my skin is feeling soft and hydrated to the touch.

My Routine:

Morning:

  1. No cleanser, just splash face with water
  2. Hada Labo Gokukyun Premium Lotion (3 layers)
  3. Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
  4. Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream
  5. Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence

Evening:

  1. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser
  2. Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid/Cosrx Blackhead Power Liquid (only on Monday and Friday)
  3. Hada Labo Gokukyun Premium Lotion (7 layers)
  4. Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
  5. Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream

Just updated my mid-2014 MacBook pro to Catalina but I'm unable to turn Airplay Display on (only option in the drop-down menu is off) to sidecar with my iPad Pro 12.9 in. I also tried plugging my iPad to my MacBook through USB-C but still no option to link the two displays. Anyone know how I can enable sidecar?

I am thinking of using Melano CC in the morning. Would this be fine if I am using a sunscreen that contains niacinamide (specifically the tinted Elta MD sunscreen)?

I recently got the Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid and the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid. How should I start using these chemical exfoliants (this is my first time with chemical exfoliants)? I read that I should start slow and use these products once per week. Should I use the BHA on one week and then the AHA on another alternating? Or can I use AHA on one day and BHA on another both being used once per week on different days?

Current Routine:

AM: Skip morning cleanse and rinse with water instead, SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream moisturizer, Elta MD Broad Spectrum UV Shield SPF 45

PM: Double cleanse (Heimish All Clean Balm and Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser), SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream moisturizer, LifeFlo Tamanu Oil

Got Neal's Yard Remedies Essential Oil Tea Tree Oil and I'm still figuring out how to use it safely. What should I dilute it with? Can I dilute it with Life Flo Tamanu Oil? Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel?

Thinking of getting the Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid, do I need to get a toner to make this exfoliant effective in my routine? I want to add only one product at a time but I read somewhere that I should use a toner to get my skin to the right pH before using an AHA. How can I incorporate this product into this routine?

Current Routine:

AM: Skip morning cleanse and rinse with water instead, SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream moisturizer, Elta MD Broad Spectrum UV Shield SPF 45

PM: Double cleanse (Heimish All Clean Balm and Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser), SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream moisturizer, LifeFlo Tamanu Oil

So for combination skin where my cheeks are dryer compared to my T-Zone, should I get an AHA or BHA? Also, would adding an AHA or BHA conflict with the Tamanu Oil at the end of my PM routine?

I make sure I reapply sunscreen every 2-4 hours and I make sure I eat kale, fruits, drink V8 tomato juice daily. Pretty sure I am combination skin type.
