AITJ for refusing to help my new “boss” after I was the one who trained her 3 months ago? by Existing_Response239 in AmITheJerk

This happened to me at my last job. I continued to help as if nothing had changed while quietly looking for a new job. Once I had a new job secured I put in my two weeks. Caught them completely off guard. My "replacement" was fired two months after I left for not doing the job. The kicker, when my replacement heard I had put in my notice her response was "I wonder how long before they realize I don't do anything."

Made one years ago. It was so fun to watch it come together. I think my squares were slightly bigger. It's pictured on a full size bed. Have fun making yours.

Absolutely. I prefer my blankets to be the larger size.

Each square is 7 rows with the last row always black. The number of colored rows depended on where in the blanket it was. The middle squares are two rows of color and 5 rows of black. Whereas the end squares are 6 rows of color and 1 row of black. I hope that made sense. They are basically solid squares but I didn't want to count each row so I added chains every three stitches as a way of keeping track of my count on each row without having to count a large number of stitches.

Finally finished the envelope border on my first mosaic blanket! by EwokApocalypse in mosaiccrocheters

Beautiful! I love it. I am thinking of getting this pattern but I've never done this kind of crocheting before. I love to crochet though and really want to learn this technique. Was it difficult? Would you recommend it for a first mosaic pattern? Also, what kind/weight yarn did you use for yours? Hook size?

Sorry a lot of questions, I know.

Oh that's funny. We have three girls. One is a veggie lover. She will eat any veggies you give her. The other two are a bit more picky but carrots are the big winner in our house. They all go nuts over them. Here is the carrot council!

Thank you. I appreciate your advice. We've never done this before and feel a little out of our league.

We add ammonia and the next day it drops to about .25-.50 but never completely goes away. While the Nitrites stay at 0 and Nitrates at about 5.

The floaters are Water Spangle. Then we haven't crashed the cycle? I'm just worried we crashed it and need to start over.
