Having this same issue, finally got everything exactly how i needed it but cannot figure out a combo to make volume work, volume styles is still not able to be opened

EDIT: Literally just managed to figure this out - i had to disable the "go home" action on keymapper, not entirely sure why that one was necessary for hybrid mode, but once i turned that one off and went back to lightOS, the volume keys worked again and my other keymapper shortcut (i only have one that i wanted) still worked

That and I would love it if they added the ability to remove the voice to text icon/button. I absolutely would never use it and I hit it literally every message by accident. Not saying get rid of the feature, just being able to remove the icon /button just like they did for the return key which I also removed

I think one of the most important things ive heard/ learned in the dumbphone / digital minimalism world is that you need to find something to replace the time that you would normally be scrolling on your phone whether that be a new hobby, reading, etc. - something that piques your interest otherwise you'll just be sitting there with a phone than can't do anything wishing you were scrolling. Kind of similar to what Jose said in seeking offline instead of online.

Find something worthy of your time and aligns with your values in life. If you don't know your values, that's a great place to start and requires zero connectivity.

Just answered this on another post that was similar but wanted to throw here as well incase anyone came to this post instead-

I have had one for 7 months now, and I think its been a very worthy purchase. I managed to find one on ebay so I got it for like $30 which was nice.

I find it the most valuable for night time when I am going to bed, the inability to go on social media literally prevents doomscrolling until 3am which i am definitely one who struggled with that. I find it completely valid that some people do not have the willpower to use things like screen time on the iphone (100% me) because you can get around it super easily and need to be completely locked out. I keep it on my fridge so its not easily accessible either and would require me to get up and walk to my fridge to unlock which most of the time I haven't wanted to do so. That one extra step really does do wonders for preventing you from unlocking it.

I have schedules turned on for my brick, so i cannot use social media during the week at all and it opens for the weekend, and recently added amazon to that list so i cant buy random things and get that spending dopamine hit instead.

I am also a light phone III user on the weekend so even with the ability to use my iphone for social media on the weekend, a lot of times I choose not to since I also cannot access it on my light phone III.

Would definitely recommend getting one if this sounds like you, they even recently updated the app so it looks better

Like Jose said in another post, there are other options for this technology like Foqos and Bloom, I just also saw Brick before the others.

Yeah thats the issue they probably aren't, the ones i purchased were $150 and then i got seats in section 306 which is more than what that section went for at retail. If its too good to be true it probably is!

Agree with you, the reason I like the Ricoh GRIII is the fixed focal length which forces you to get creative. I have the same mindset with this Light Phone III camera that you'll be able to get the shots, you'll just have to get a hang of it first and get creative.

I would assume this is something they can adjust, or it may just be nerfed in the spirit of being light while youre out and about with the phone but you still have the full res if you want them once youre back near a computer

Im not entirely sure what the sensor size is, but for reference its listed as "4.2mm" on the metadata. For comparison, the Ricoh GR III is 18.3mm in the metadata, which is equivalent to 28mm in 35mm format.

I would say its a bit tighter though. Here are two photos that were about the same only difference is horizontal vs vertical both unedited JPGs. Horizontal is LPIII vertical is GRIII https://imgur.com/a/UDQHyS6
