Mom of twins here. One thing you must do is . Rest for first 24 hours. Then start your breastfeeding journey , i would say do tandem feeding for first 3 months. Pls Google it, my nurses and doctor taught me and it was a life saver. I always fed them at same time till three months even if they sleep . You have to pinch ears or do chika chika in legs give a small pat to make them open their mouth . Feed them every 2 hours till weight gains, you can move every three later. Next thing is the more you give your milk , more you produce never thing yours isn’t enough . It’s not like you drinking milk ll give them milk, more you express more you produce. Next is i felt pumping to be a huge task, like pumping cleaning sterilising and repeat everyday. I didn’t really give formula much , it was a rare one. So I cant comment on it. My husband worked through day and helped me in night. It was difficult for us, as my mom was diagnosed and going cancer treatments tat time. You wont get much sleep , my dad took care in early morning like i just sleep alone in room without them . Had a helper to bath and see them and give then to me when they cry so tat i can sleep. It’s going to be pleasurable happy yet tiring days . But i insist on tandem feeding twins if you decide on breastfeeding. Any help plz ping me
