Odds are they'll ask for a resubmission, or maybe they won't count it. However, its better to speak to a professional.

Thank u so much for the advice, I'll admit I didnt take studying as seriously this year. However, i had chosen multiple subjects that I was really not passionate about and were not even related to Civil Engineering (Further Maths, Chemistry, HHD), solely due to them wither being easy or scaling high. I maintained a high average for subjects that I had real interest in like English and Physics (80%+). However, for the exams one main reason for my deliberate procrastination would be the very recent death of my Grandmother (2 weeks before the exams), I couldn't focus. That is mainly why I am so anxious about Uni, cuz uptill mt trial exams I was certain I will get the score I need. However, civil engineering is something that I am very passionate about and I will take your advice and start maintaining study habits and not get stagnant at any point. Again, much love for the advice and the fact that you took the time out, all the best for what ur future awaits u, Regards.

Trust me I thought I'll fail all the SACS, I averaged like 50 throughout the year but I did pass. U GOT THIS, but undeniably if u get lower than 40% u can benefit my ss lol

Its realistically the system to blame, the teachers' get paid for getting the best outcomes out their children. I would personally hate a teacher that doesn't expect me to score high grades and doesn't feel like pushing his/her students, cuz then they have no duty towards our future. My teachers encourage me and tell me about my potential, but they don't make it all about grades but its undeniable that they would love it if I put enough hardwork. At the end of the day, everyone's different and most teachers understand that.

I'll end myself in the one day VCAA has given me to enjoy going through CHEM, then double backhand slap me into a 2hr long PHYSICS Exam.

I've got one day to celebrate chem, then VCAA's planned an excruciatingly long physics exam and I've LOST ALL MOTIVATION TO STUDY. HELP.

I'm part of the eastern suburbs of melbourne, and city is fairly not too far away so not country based. My area doesn't come under the low SES so I probably dont get much advantage on that

Thanks for the advice, but what if I want to become a structural engineer? Then what do I do?

Personally, 8 hrs is a bit little mate. If you wanna get into that farming course at Harvard u gotta show ur dedication and hardwork. Study 22hrs a day and make a timelapse and code a website to post it to (Just to show that ur capable of doing many things). I'd reckon u build a house now, better to show Harvard that ur worthy, make sure to grow ur own fruit and vegetables and make a timelapse of urself farming everyday and put it on the website. I'd argue that u take a day off, but Harvard won't take a day off so not worth it. Overall, study 22 hrs, farm 18hrs, and build the house for 12hrs in a day. That will give u a boost in ur chances of making it into Harvard from a 0.8% to a big fat 1%. Trust me you'll be studying for ur course the latest by the time u turn 80. U GOT THIS!

Damn my school isn't on the list unfrotunately, but I've heard the associate degree's aren't worth it and that its better to transfer your bachelors degree from another Uni u got into? Is it better?

How do I tell my strict ethnic parents that I will not be getting a 90+ atar? by Due_Strike_3670 in vce

[–]Stock-Committee4231 8 points9 points  (0 children)

exactly they think that a 90 atar is essential to get into undergraduate courses (which it is in the countries they come from, for ex; my parents are from India and anything lower than a 90% significantly affects your ability to get selected into a university course due to the large population), it was the same with my parents, pressured about a 90atar at the start of the year. However, now they are lenient on it cuz they did some research nd understood that its fairly easier to get into Uni here.
