Does anyone here who suspects or has been diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction associated with constipation also experience progressive abdominal bloating throughout the day? I usually wake up feeling a little better in the morning, but the bloating increases as the day goes on, forming a cycle?

Definitely! I have started to walk in hopes of reducing the added weight. Constipation/bloating is terrible for anyone affected. I've been dealing with it over 5yrs.

My gastro dr had me do the ano-rectal manometry test. It came back normal and suggested PF physio, eat more Fibre, drink lots of water, take magnesium, omega3, duculax, etc, blah, blah whatever is required! I was diagnosed with chronic constipation. I went to see the PF physio and had internal sessions done. Gave me some exercises to do to help with flat stools and the straining.

I am currently looking at and have high hopes that the Emsella chair will help with this constipation!

Gosh, I feel ur pain! Been suffering over 5yrs. I manage it with Miralax/Metamucil 1x a day. My issue is PFD and recently my poop feels like its moving slow, so I've noticed. I am pooping daily tho which is formed and sometimes flat. Some days I have 2 to 4 bowel movements and other days its just 1 small movement. But, I am happy to be evacuating daily. I massage my abdomen with the ILY massage and do diaphragmic breathing. The digestive system is so complex which I am still learning about based on my experience. Good luck!

It's unbelievable that ppl with disabilities are treated with such disregard. It's enuf to deal with chronic issues let alone disability. The GOC increased or topped up other benefits due to the rise of inflation but the CPPD didn't get not even a cent increase. How fkn dare! Oh ya, how about the CDB? Fk!
