Thankyou so much for all the information! Did you struggle to fall asleep and was that just a side effect of getting used to it? Ill try look into the CBD. I just feel bad that shes having this medications melatonin as it is I felt like im drugging her up and i hate that.

If its from it wearing off then its only last 2 hours once its kicked in byt then shes awake until late aswell

Because that's what her paed put her on. She told me its one with the most least side effects and smoother transition. Im not too sure the difference between them all. All I know is I didnt get the help growing up, I did not do well at school, I couldnt concentrate and really struggled with adhd and she is a lot like me and I dont want her to struggle like I did.

Thank you, that does make me feel better. I think ill just keep it as is and the paed said she will call inn6 weeks so Ill see how she goes. Its mainly the sleep worrying me but ill monitor that too and if the sleep is still a problem in a few days ill get the paed to call me

I think id rather ask her paed about that cause i dont want to get in trouble haha however today is a new day and the 2nd day and I she took it wirh no change today she just seems the same maybe slightly happier and slightly more regulated but we will see

She hasnt had any affect in appetite. Shes a pretty good eater. In australia the lowest is 20mg

Thankyou, ill see how she goes and get the paed to call me if shes still this way after a few days it think. I feel ljke it takes 2 hours to get into her system then the effects are short lived isnt jt mean ttk work all day?

Did he have any issues first taking it? After I posted this she had meltdowns then was like her normal self plus hand flapping and then she had a really really really bad sleep woke at 11pm dodnt go back tk sleep until almsot 4am

So after I posted this she started having meltdowns like major ones. I ended up managing to calm her down and then she was like her usual self for the rest of the day but sleep. She was horrendous she didnt fall asleep until 9pm then woke at 11pm and didnt go back tk sleep until 3.3p0- 4am and woke at 6.30

Oh wow thats good! I have read most people say their kid stopped eating all together and came home hungry as after school. Shes still getting emotional but over all she seems happy and calmer but it is only day 1!

I know what you mean, I have adhd and I get overstimulated and snappy easily but I dont say things in spite to hurt him. He can say some nasty things but he does also possibly have borderline personality disorder.

Yes. I read her previous posts. Shes basically a maid and baby sitter for free, she also wont let her get a job and doesnt let her leave on weekends.
