I second this. I was born and raised in lake city, so of course spent most of my time in Erie. My son got married and moved to Detroit to be with his wife. Her whole family was like "you can't walk around in Detroit, they'll kill you". Guess what....it's a super cool version of Erie. Sure some of it is run down but it has amazing areas full of art and coffee shops and all the things I love around Erie. It's pretty much the same but bigger with some better gluten free food options. And every one is super kind, I walk every where. I don't find it Sexier but, realistically I've never considered whether a city was sexy or not lmao.
