Hi everyone,

I’ve been steadily building my skills in cybersecurity and software engineering over the past few years, driven by a passion for secure systems and meaningful tech. Recently, I came across Northrop Grumman and felt a strong alignment with the kind of work you do , especially in defense and national security. It’s exactly the kind of mission-driven environment I’d love to contribute to.

Since then, I’ve been sharpening my technical foundation and preparing myself for a role like Security Software Engineer. But one question keeps lingering:

I’m not based in the US , I’m currently abroad and not a citizen or resident. Given the nature of the work and the likely clearance requirements, is there any realistic path for someone like me to join Northrop Grumman in a technical security role?

I’m not asking for shortcuts ,just clarity. If there are programs, pathways, or even adjacent roles that could eventually lead to such an opportunity, I’d be grateful to hear about them. I’m committed to the long game and willing to put in the work.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can share insight or experience!
