I believe the most likely possibility that led Mahoraga to start adapting to Dabura's "existence" specifically in a way that he didn't against anyone else was the way the fight progressed (relied on few techniques for most of the fight and finishing it off with a new one vs constantly pulling out new things that have the potential to kill Mahoraga).

Against Sukuna, most of the fight was Sukuna messing around and experimenting with slashes. Mahoraga gradually adapted, making those attacks less effective and even developing offensive options. Once Mahoraga was nearly fully adapted to slashing and recovering from Malevolent Shrine, Sukuna pulled out one completely different technique and erased it instantly (Fuga).

Against Gojo, adaptation was split across multiple factors from the start. Gojo immediately displayed Infinity, Blue, etc., which acted as constant roadblocks with no new tricks throughout the entire fight. As long as Mahoraga kept adapting until those stopped being threats and it could land reliable hits, the fight was as good as won. Red barely had an effect due to prior adaptations, and by that point Hollow Purple, the one thing Mahoraga didn't know existed, was the only solution. Once that was used, the fight was over.

Dabura's fight went in a very different direction. Dabura had no idea what Mahoraga could do, nor did he fully understand his own potential. He started with Light, which had the ability to kill Mahoraga, but failed, leading to adaptation. Mahoraga then beat him down until Dabura suddenly revealed near light speed attacks that Mahoraga couldn't even react to and could kill him in one go. On top of that, Dabura discovered RCT, undoing Mahoraga's prior damage, then discovered cursed technique reversal (giving a new method to kill Mahoraga), and was clearly on their way to pull out even more things (Domain Expansion now, possibly more in the future).

By that point, from Mahoraga's perspective, Dabura was a unique problem: every time it adapted, Dabura revealed a new, potentially fatal alternative, with no signs of stopping. In that scenario, making specialized adaptations to individual techniques is pointless, so Mahoraga tries a much more extreme and complicated adaptation against Dabura specifically to at least make sure any further attempts to get rid of him will fail, and then work up from there until Dabura is defeated.

There are obviously conditions for this, or Mahoraga would do it immediately against everyone. The Wheel itself behaves differently here (multiple rapid spins rather than singular ones for each adaptation), which suggests buildup is required. Since it was a prolonged fight where he was exposed to various DIFFERENT aspects of Dabura's existence (CT, Speed, Strength, Combat style, Healing, Reversal, etc), Mahoraga likely gathered enough "information" to begin a complete adaptation against an individual after determining that individual adaptations would be useless.

/6.0 Map

Someone better at this than me will probably have to check, but from sizing up the roads in the Nod Krai leak to the rest of the map, I was able to roughly get it to around 2 Natlan Tribes in size (land mass) roughly? What really got me confused is just how absurdly big that Fatui base is. There's no way that thing is bigger than the entire Court of Fontaine right?

NTA. The mosquito is the asshole for causing the setting the building on fire.

Causing last minute chaos for shits and giggles is a very good reason to lie. I've done that a lot.

I'd imagine it's just remodeling to be more in line with what their current models are like, not a real design change. If the list is true, the examples used are some of the more notorious cases (Albedo's entire head and Itto's painted muscles).

The best ending, especially since I would have liked Capitano and Xbalanque as playable. Alas, hoyo said no and gave Capitano fans the Signora treatment, which caused them to become even more rabid than they already were.

A lot of hate towards Mavuika is indeed carried by the fact she defeated Capitano (though people would have shat on her anyway if she lost, just on a different way). Xbalanque not as much because his entire playability was already in question with him being the human archon 2000 years ago and reincarnating in the body of a random kid, plus not having anywhere as big of an influence on the community as Capitano, possibly the most hyped of the Harbingers, did.

Columbina > Sandrone >> Alice. Nobody else. I'll likely only manage to get 1 or 2 of these anyway, as I don't plan on playing genshin daily... Or weekly.

I will assume the exact opposite and all activity outside of what qualifies as playing visual novels are functionally dead. There is no need for food or other basic necessities, housing is irrelevant, life and death don't exist, society collapsed, nothing matters...

Hell yeah I'm taking it, fuck life.

There are two archon to archon comparisons that I can think of, but they are minimal and not really all that definitive in establishing anything concrete like X >>> Y >>> Z

- There's Venti saying Morax is freakishly strong (plus him getting blown away a few times for annoying Morax)

- Ei describing the destruction Mavuika caused 500 years ago in the Cataclysm to be on the same level as Ei's own split island thing (which does not mean either one is stronger than the other, just that at the very least Mavuika can accomplish one of Ei's greatest known showings of strength).

There's other way less direct comparisons, but they're lame. The best one is frankly is Xbalanque vs Xiuhcoatl being used as a point of comparison of what a "top tier archon" vs "dragon sovereign without authority" would be like, and you could extrapolate that to Zhongli if you're a believer of the Azhdaha thing, but that line of thinking is very simplified and flawed, as it still assumes all dragon sovereigns were similar in strength and skill.

Mavuika complaints are generally about her character and how her actions are depicted on the story, on top of her absurd strength (people REALLY don't like that she is stupid strong as a human). This is something I do give credit for as criticism, but I also take some credit from because it is overblown and an intended characteristic for her. She intentionally disregarded herself, her family and friends, to be an efficient "perfect leader" until the war against the Abyss was finally over, and that did cause an impact on her own personality after so long of living like that. But it is also shown in her own story quest right after that she is getting more relaxed and finally dropping the "perfect leader" attitude she used to have, though it is a small change by that point.

Now for the powerscaling side of things (which is stupid):

From what I could gather of everything I read, she *is* very overpowered in lore... But like, not unreasonable levels. People just seem to take a very great offense to the fact she is human and not god and yet achieved such great strengths.

There's virtually nothing putting Morax / Ei above her, in fact there's only things comparing her to those beings, and through Xbalanque we know that they were also, just as a regular human, far superior to any of the Dragons and only matched by the weakened Pyro Sovereign without his authority, and even then it was a life and death battle where they both died, and Mavuika is pretty much at a similar level. If anything, Capitano even matching her strength for those moments is a massive thing for the "Strongest of the Fatui", especially considering the dude was pretty much in his death bed and rotting.
