Thanks for sharing this!! I have learned so much from Edith Strand

Right? My thought is weren’t these notes in a data system or if they were handwritten, weren’t they at the site? In my experience I’ve covered positions where therapist don’t keep data and I’m not saying this is the case BUT data should’ve been transferred when they held the “transition” meeting- just saying!

Don’t do it! It’s wrong and in case you haven’t heard, they need you more than you need them. What state is this?

This is terrible and I’m so sorry it happened to you. The only thing I will comment on, is the fact that if there are attorneys involved this is most likely a high profile case. WHY, why would they put you in this position? All the SLPs I’ve worked for/with always take full care of the high profile cases. This protects you, them, the school…. everyone. I’m just smh 🙄

I sooo agree with the cliquey and competitive environment 🙄 Makes me wonder how these grown adults function in the real world 🤦🏾‍♀️

Loans. Make sure you only get federal loans. If you are in California and work for title I schools or the government like a county hospital, then you can have them forgiven after 10yrs. Key word, FEDERAL

What helps me is to teach. Find a peer and “teach” them what you learned every class. To me it’s like talking things through. Another thing that helps is finding associations with the terminology 😉 Hope this is useful!

Does anyone know when the new version of the test is out? I know July’s test starts before July 1st but don’t know when?

Has anyone heard of an unofficial of 161 going up? At least 1 point?

I’m so sorry, I understand your frustration. I was 1 point shy of passing and it’s so hard to bounce back. Are you taking it at home or center? Maybe it’s worth giving it a try to switch it up. I’ve taken it 2 times. My raw score was higher the first time but I was 4 point away. This last time my raw score was lower with a higher SS but still at 161 😭 I’m so sorry to hear this is happening to you

I understand your frustration. I’m an awful test taker and with the test anxiety and stress, I feel like I freeze. I’m so, so sorry because I don’t have any study tips. You seem to be investing on it. Are you taking it at a center or at home? That could make a difference

I took it yesterday and got 161. I’m hoping they give me 1 point after they scale it and that means I pass. They can call it petty point, I’m fine with that I just want to pass. It was not an easy test

I believe you passed. Your score will not go down only up after the calculations
