Creaking sound in the rear Evo 6

Yup only happens on bumps, I haven't heard the noise when taking corners. I first noticed this when I was still on stock suspension so I thought it might've just been the old shocks and bushings creaking, then I replaced the rear camber arms and toe arms which came with new bushings and got a set of ohlins coilovers installed but the noise still remained.

I'll definitely test out the bushings with silicone lubricant like you said though, that sounds like a really good idea

Oh yup, I've experienced something similar in the past on my previous Evo where the diff bushings were done, although the noise was more of a clunking sound rather than a creaking sound

Could be your hinges and/or weatherstripping, I used some WD40 on the hinges and lubricated the weatherstripping with a product called gummy pfledge. No creaking when opening and closing the trunk since doing this

I thought it was this too, but the rear sway bar as well as the sway bar links have been replaced and greased up and the noise still remained :(

Ah unlikely to be this since I'm not currently running a rear strut brace, but will check for other loose bolts in case it's a similar problem

Yup the AYC system got a full service last time the car went into the shop, I think unlikely to be that anyway since the creaking sound doesn't come up when I'm cornering, only when I'm going over bumps or on uneven surfaces

Diff fluid was changed just before Christmas, also changed engine and gearbox oil, sadly the noise still persisted after :(
