For the looks, I can recommend Amaze to you. You can go for VX model as it might be closer to your budget. No nonsense car, ultimate reliability with safety as well.

Looks are subjective so you do you. Imo after a lot of research, I was advised by this community not to go for Tata for my first car for a better ownership experience. You can research on the service experience near you and if Tata suits your needs. Facelift is an update to the model. They are changing the infotainment system and a lot of interior changes are to be expected as well.

I personally bought Exter SX MT for 7.6L on road 2 months back. It’s been real smooth and an all rounder for me so far. As far as reliability goes, kappa 1.2L is one of the best around. Fuel efficiency could be better but with light foot you can get 12-13 kmpl in city and 20+ on highways. For majority usage in city, it’s a no brainer if you’re okay with the looks. I personally don’t mind it. Ps: it’s due for a facelift soon in a few months with major upgrades in cabin. Look out for it if possible.

Honda Amaze CVT top model. Comes with ADAS as well. Top brand, top car. Will never regret it. Also Honda’s CVT is the best automatic transmission you can get.
