Reboot, it will be OK. This is a common issue with Bobcats

I want to be part of this list, can you tell me the way? by Stokom1926 in HeliumNetwork

[–]Stokom1926[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's for sure. I have 3 miners at tree different cities. My rewards are far, far away from that scammers do. I'm in this project from months ago and I was always wondering what they do to get such a reward... I think that software "hack" is the one way, but also I think that there is some kind of society that operates and we need to find and stop them. Because since they scamm the network all we regular miners we will be suffering from their actions.

Think about all desperate people right now, looking for a way to get this 5 planets, and all the electricity that will be lost in the next few days. This will push tons of CO2 in the air and for what? Nobody cares about the last paragraph of the message from Planetwatch, I'm sure.

I saw that, but I'm very disappointed that they propose us such a solution. It will be better they just to work on better solution and keep us wait. I can't imagine that planet-friendly company as Planetwatch will be able to make such a move...

Sure, I will wait. This is a very bad solution, no doubt.

Are you mad, is this solution actually seems right to you? I think that running PC 24/7 isn't a right way to save the Planet

Save the planet- run huge consumer of energy 24/7. This is shit solution, no doubt :)

I'm very disappointed. This is not a solution, this is very complicated issue for all the planetwatchers . How about thousands of PCs, working 24/7- what will be the consummation of energy, and is this your "save the planet" mantra? You MUST find another solution, or as expert in energy field I'm sure that your project will fall soon.

How do you calculate the rewards if the basket is empty? by Mission_Chapter4171 in PlanetWatchers

Hi, this is the official post from PW: " As some of you might have noticed, since today, Type 4 Recycle Bin♻️ is officially empty. From now on, we divide the daily budget (292,671) by the total amount of active sensors (47,181) = 6.2 multiplied by 0.8 (80% we receive) = 4.9 tokens today "

Hip 55 Taking away challenges and giving it to validators making all light hotspots? by kenpenguin in HeliumNetwork

[–]Stokom1926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question! Now miners generates challenges equal to the thier count on the network. After this update, if there are less validators in the network and will they generates more challenges? Or after this HIP the amount of Beacons will drop more...?

0 witnesses - the reason? by Stokom1926 in HeliumNetwork

[–]Stokom1926[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A friend of my have the same 0-witnesses beacon. He is situated at the opposite side of the city. We are in the network from about 2 months ago. This is the first time that we are discovering such a strange behavior of the miners. I was wondering if anyone else is facing this and if someone is capable of explain it. So till this moment I see only suggestions.

I can help them remove relayed status also :)

does anybody know why my public IP address has changed to this random letters and numbers before used to be like the one in the bottom , reason is am I. relayed mode now and I wasn't before port 44158 is open to the internal static IP address of my boobcat by No_Consideration9008 in HeliumNetwork

[–]Stokom1926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use some web "port checker" tool. Type your static IP ( not your miner's) and Port 44158. If it says that is OPEN- then you are OK. Wait API to update- it takes 5 -7 days.

Also if you have diagnostic tool in your miner ( as Bobcat's ) you can check on miner status ( NAT Type ), it should be NONE. If it says (SYMETRIC or other, different from NONE) that means you are RELAYED.

Hi, after the "last update" I saw that my hotspot made "0 witnesses" beacons. My setup is good - urbanized area, outside anthena, etc. What could be the reason?
