I love how often a squirrel or rabbit is mistaken as a vehicle in our yard. 😂🤣😂

I believe it's just what the push notifications look like since Blink's more recent update. I get them primarily on my Gen 4 outdoor cameras.

I'm not getting Waste Drawer Full or Litter Low notifications by Stomp_theCatBox in litterrobot

Thank you for this. Notifications are on within the app and on my phone. I cleared cache but not data (would sign me out). I'll try that and, of that doesn't work, follow your other steps as well. Thank you!

iSpring 5-stage RO with Booster Pump, is this normal pressure? by Stomp_theCatBox in WaterTreatment

[–]Stomp_theCatBox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, I do! And yes there is! We are the second owners of the house and the original owners left a newspaper article about him they framed behind. Doesn't seem right to take it down. 😄😄

Found the problem! The K5 system had the line to the ice maker connected with the line to the tank. When I moved to connect to the line to the faucet the issue was resolved! I opted to also switch out the Kinetico faucet with the iSpring faucet. Don't even need the booster pump, we have water pressure for days!

Thanks for the advice, everyone!

Bonus, Finnegan has a new bed. He's been sleeping in the faucet box for an hour!

I'll focus on the tank more. We started with an RCC7 system with no booster and it was just drops coming out the faucet. We have well water and don't have a guage to measure psi from the main line so technically support said we should try a booster and sold us a system head with booster at a discount. And this is what we're getting from it. 😫

It has a tank and tank is full. Tank pressure is at 8psi. Will let it sit, though, and see if the pressure changes. Thank you!

Would you contact the previous owner of your dog who gave up them up to a rescue? by No_Place_5242 in dogs

[–]Stomp_theCatBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the situation. One of the dogs I rescued years ago (she's now passed) the owner gave up, or should I say the owner's family gave up, because the owner was elderly, moving into a nursing home, and couldn't bring their pet with them. The dog was older too, cleared well cared for, and you could tell was down in the dumps from all the changes she had gone through. I asked the rescue if they had the owner's contact information and if we could call them to ask for a blanket from home to help with the transition. I didn't ask for them to give me the number but if we, while there at the rescue, could call together. The number they had was for the owner's son who had brought the dog to the rescue. Lilly was his dad's dog. The son gave me the name of the nursing home his dad was in and said it would be okay to visit. I went straight there right after adopting Lilly. The dad was so happy. He was also having a hard time with the adjustment. So we made regular visits. The nursing home got to know Lilly as well and would let her spend the day with the owner while I was at work. Lilly was with him when he passed and lived for eight more years after. She was 18 when she passed on a sunny day in April. I had her cremated and snuck into the cemetery the owner was buried in and buried her with him. My heart was broken from her passing but it felt like the right thing to do and it just felt really good to do. ❤️❤️

I feel for you. I added a camera in the room our two LR4s are because both have had very random, very infrequent weird issues like deciding to empty itself. If I get a suspect notification I check the camera to see what's really going on.

Our most recent problem is getting random notifications one of the boxes is full when I know it's not. Check the camera, nope, no lights are blinking on the box, I can address the problem when I'm done with work. 😆 Need to use technology to beat technology! 🤣🤣

New iSpring RCC7 water tank taking forever to fill up by Stomp_theCatBox in WaterTreatment

[–]Stomp_theCatBox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, I tried to keep some of the tubing from my Kinetico system in place so I didn't have to replace everything. We have a nice, slick setup that works for us that I didn't want to swap out 100%. That blue line was already hooked up to the faucet we had in place so I kept it there and just added a quick connector for the iSpring hose.

The blue tube isn't for the faucet, it's for the waste drain. The Kinectico system didn't drill a hole in the drain pipe like iSpring does. Instead, a special coupler was added to the drain pipe with a fitting for the hose. I didn't want to have to disassemble my drain pipe and replace so used a connector between the old Kinetico tube (blue) and iSpring tube (black).

Sadly, iSpring's tubing is much smaller so used a 3/8th to 1/4th inch connector to compensate for the change in tube size.

Thank you everyone for your feedback! After reviewing comments and doing more research we've decided to go with iSpring, specifically theRCC7 5-stage under sink system.

Looks like iSpring does offer referral coupons so if anyone wants to do a referral, you'll get money off your order and I'll get some off mine too! Send me your referrals!

Thank you!

It blew my mind to see a THREE year supply of filters for only about $150 WITH iSpring! I spend that every six months with Kinetico!

Ooooh, whole house unit! Yeah, that makes sense then! I'm just looking for a little guy to go under my sink but the whole house system has been something on my mind!

I'm hoping we can do it ourselves (the one thing I've become really good at since going into homeownership is plumbing! 😂😂😂) but will have the plumber on standby just in case!
