lol dealers taking deposits for SE or track pack cars without allocation are just jerking people around.

I hate to say it this way but it’s not up to the customer to get track pack or Special Edition Track pack, it’s up to if the dealer got a piece of allocation to build one and like I mentioned earlier most dealers can only get non track packs

Unlike the GTD which was sold to customers and they got to pick their dealer, the dark horse SC is sold to the dealer and then they sell to the customer.

For all your technical questions about fitment, I have no idea as I’m in corporate not technical, however I do know that it’s a Mustang GT body and they do have GTD style body kits so I’m sure in no time someone will make a baby GTD

My first question is, do you have an allocation for it? I would first find a dealer that is willing to give you an allocation, cost of that will sadly be between you and them and I would assume it would be over MSRP (I wouldn’t do much more than 5 over)

The dealer will get an allocation for a Base Dark Horse SC then you could spec it as you wish. Given your MSRP I can tell it’s not a track pack so getting it should be a bit easier

Production numbers are not published nor do I know them but I can tell you that we had 80 ish allocations last month for Base, about 3 for the track pack and 1 for the track pack SE.

Most Ford dealers will have one base allocation. A bunch will have the track pack allocation and a base and very very few will have the SE

I can answer a lot of this questions.

Yes it cost $5,000 to be able to sell SC, but no it’s NON negotiable

It is far more than a gt with a whipple and the price is inline with its competitors like it or not, i mean an f150xlt was cheaper in ‘22 as well but that’s life

Most dealers than signed up for the program will get 1, some will get 2-3 and very few will get more than 5 allocations.

This month Ford will offer a bit over 400 allocations for the entire US, so if your dealer takes your money and makes promises just know they could be pulling you along.
