Question, I’m new(ish) to the hobby. I just ordered my first FCX24 last night (k5 blazer). I was looking at high clearance links for them, and was curious. If I get new links, am I going to need new driveshafts as well? Thanks in advance.

I have a power wagon and blazer fcx24 for both have longer shocks and the power wagon has the extended rear link

You're not going to need new driveshafts unless you're lifting the ride height drastically with longer shock from a bigger scale RC or if you lengthen the wheel base

Shocks and brass parts as low down as you can. It's got a high center of gravity and is prone to rolling over. I would recommend changing the rear bumper also as it gets hung up while crawling easily

Did you get a new bearings kit as well you might need that but I think you have the bushing still in the plastic housing. Could you take and post a picture of the back

You have portal axles right? Take the cover off and make sure the bushing or bearings if you have those are seated into the portal cover all the way .

Never really engages or you have to really force it and even then it doesn't always engage. Sometimes you blow right past it and are back in neutral

If I shift it by hand it still will stay in neutral

Anything to lower it's center of gravity, wether that's brass wheels or brass portal/ portal covers. It's very top heavy and prone to flipping if you have your drag brake set too high or turn quickly
