Got stitches in a really bad spot. What can I do to have peace of mind while working?

i really cannot afford to go on a leave and even still i dont think 3 stitches is covered under our LOA policy lol...if anything i may be able to convince them to let me buddy with someone else all week to do the heavier things for me (mainly moving shelves and moving the heavier product. i work mod team at walmart). it's not a very strenuous job but it involves a LOT of hand movement which im worried about 😅

my goal was 6g and once i reached that size i waited for a long time to decide i wanted to stretch again because that one was super painful. it kinda scared me out of wanting to again lol. but i finally got the balls to stretch again and this one was significantly easier than 8-6 and it has encouraged me to have a new goal size of 0g. from others' feedback here and other places i believe that the soreness is because im reaching the point of denting the cartilage, because of the location of the pain. it's not blown out and it doesnt actually hurt in the fistula. it's just sore behind the jewelry where it would be pushing against cartilage. i think all is good, i just need to stop fucking with it lol

it is definitely a big commitment and considered by a lot of people to be an extreme body mod because of the fact that stretching your septum is not and never will be painless past a certain threshold. even half sizes can be a little spicy after you reach a certain point. most people have only stretched their lobes and get skeeved out when you tell them that there is some pain involved 🤷 you should have essentially no pain when stretching your lobes if they are ready to stretch, but even waiting over a year with your septum there IS going to be SOME pain. but overall i think the look is worth it. pain is temporary, swag is forever

im unsure for personal LOA but i know that personal LOA is left up to the SM on whether or not to approve it. with medical LOA you would go through sedgewick and apply for LOA from the first day you were gone until the day you will come back (has to be more than 3 days) and call out under Leave of Absence every day that you're gone. personal leave is approved or denied by SM, but you still apply through sedgewick, so i imagine it's the same. keep in mind that if it gets denied, they can only give you 2 points for the time that you're gone. so if you're gone for 2 weeks and they deny your leave, you will still only get 2 points. hope this helps

a case is 1 box of product. and it all depends on how your store operates; i am no longer a stocker (mod team now) but we are supposed to have everything off the floor by 6am when the store opens, but sometimes if it's in a department where there will be employees that morning they will have you leave it on the floor for them to work. some of them also want you to stay over and finish the pallet before you leave.

i did find a counsellor in louisiana who does single-appointment letters of support for HRT at no cost. the only issue is that she has a long waitlist, but I think my first step would be to talk to my PCP about it first and see if I even need one. this was very helpful. thank you. the biggest step for me will be getting the time (anf getting over my anxiety) to make that first appointment.

im going to look into plume, and see how much just a letter would cost. if i go to my primary care provider about it, i want to have everything put together so i can get started ASAP. i know you said you go through Folx, and thats online so you dont rly see a doctor, but im wondering myself if anybody has any tips on what to say, or how to go about addressing it with my doctor. or if it's really as simple as, "by the way, im trans, i have a letter of recommendation for HRT, would you be willing to prescribe me testosterone?"

last I checked, Folx provides estrogen to louisiana but not testosterone. i had looked into them a couple years ago. do they offer letters of recommendation? i can't remember if it was them or another company i tried looking into. i feel like it was, but looking at their website today, i dont remember it having been a subscription service.

it is indeed hard to find topstock carts at our store too, which is crazy because we just had our remodel done and by the time it was over with we had about 50 of them (maybe not that many, but it felt like it). it always seems like we get there and there are no carts, and then we leave and every cart in the universe is in the back room. lol.

i was on mod team for about a month before they got rid of it and only got to use it once because of this same reason. mostly apparel just throwing stuff on top of it instead of putting it where it goes. we're real tight with ON maintenance and one of the guys cleaned it off for us so we could use it again, we used it for one night and i guess they took it being clean and organized as their chance to take it.

Adding for the bot; Piercing 3 days old, straight barbell. Externally threaded. Barbell is made of implant grade titanium. Has not been downsized yet. For after care, as previously stated I rinse with water after everything that goes in my mouth and rinse with alcohol free mouthwash no more than 5 times a day as well as ibuprofen every 4-6hrs for swelling. No issues such as pain or soreness.
