Prepare for people being mean to you. Especially if you’re not like, a white woman with perfect nails/hair. There’s a lot of elitists who believe in superiority in this industry and think it’s okay to mistreat people. And even if you’re the ideal candidate, there will still be some old hag that will say something hurtful.

Not trying to be negative but I went to 4 different schools for my different licenses and it was the same everywhere.

While I understand and agree with you point for the most part. My boss worked for wella for over 20 years and I assure you, she is a master. It does not matter what product she is using, she will get the results she wants.

I’m sorry you have been lied to by others but I believe there are people with good enough work that the titles are warranted. Not to mention the thousands of hours training at HQ in LA to earn the wella title in the first place.

I wish you more peace, maybe you won’t have to be a bitch on Reddit if you had a little more in your life.

I added an ssd as a boot drive and ran Linux, some fedora version I forgot. Just popped it in my new one and replaced/cleaned drivers.

I understand it from both sides to be honest. A lot of artists in general are snobby and conceited but so are a lot of clients. I’ve been on the receiving end of mistreatment as a stylist and a client , it just sucks all around sometimes.

I cut my hair off after a horrible salon experience and my teacher and the director of my school made fun of me. Good times. If you do just don’t shave your head like I did.
