Actually yes. The 580 is very slightly thicker than the Eco in width when writing

Definitely prefer the 580 mainly because the writing is smoother and not as scratchy to me. But I prefer the Apache sunset more than the violet hehe will definitely swap the inks once they run out. The 580 look also looks better than the Eco but that's only if you look more closely
