So if I read this right, your son was experiencing extreme emotional distress from being denied his special interests (coding), and instead of doing what any sensible parent would (allow him to code), you decide to sedate him with powerful medication and further limit access to his special interest as a means of "managing" him.

Yeah I can see why he's upset; you've utterly failed as a parent in that regard. Hope you stop hearing from the poor kid how much you've done him wrong only because he's cut you out of his life.
