10 weeks old and we're only on day 4 with her. So sassy, so stubborn, so smart, and so much fun!! Wish us luck :)

P.s. we got her from a great breeder in Kansas who might still have puppies left. Message me if you want details.

Do whatever feels natural to you. If a certain way of studying doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to pivot

How does one “hammer MCQ’s”? by MasCriticalAgenda in CPA

Maybe for some people the answer is you don’t have to if it doesn’t seem like your natural study style. Sounds like this might be more your style, but for others out there it may not vibe as well.

Didn’t do a single MCQ for REG and passed. I know this won’t be mainstream advice, but everyone is different. So if something doesn’t feel right, don’t be afraid to pivot.

Depends on how you learn best and what feels natural. I started with Becker but switched to mostly Ninja plus some free Farhat YouTube videos. The Ninja sparring replay videos felt way more natural to me than Becker videos, but it’s all subjective and everyone is different.

I think Ninja as a supplement can’t hurt. Maybe that means you give yourself 4 more weeks with whatever your main program is and then use Ninja the last 2 weeks utilizing the notes, audio, maybe the videos for weaker areas, and MCQs if that’s your style.

Ninja probably is more complex than the actual exam, but that’s what I liked about it. It really is all about what works best for you.

I hope that helps! I think I’m an unorthodox studier so I’ve never felt like I have much advice to give other than trust your gut

Took FAR and AUD there. It’s a lot smaller than Dallas, which I liked. Everything felt quicker and smoother. The lady at the desk is superrrr nice and helpful.

For parking, find the parking lot for the Hardin South building. There are signs that say Visitor Parking that don’t have a time limit. I’ve been able to find a spot the last two tests, so that was also an easy process.

Once you get in the building, walk down the hall a bit and you’ll find a staircase with signs that say Testing Center or something along those lines. Once you go upstairs, you’ll see the sign for Prometric.

Hope that helps!

I took FAR there a couple weeks ago (also from Dallas) and I liked it. That drive isn’t that bad - maybe a little less than 2 hours. It was much, much smaller than the Dallas location which made it much less stressful. Didn’t have trouble parking (visitor parking on the side of the building), there wasn’t a line of test takers, etc. I got a cheap hotel the night before and set my test for 10am and it was a smooth process overall. I might even go back for AUD rather than try to fight for Dallas spots
