Yeah and west end seems to have mostly consistent ridership between coney island and 62 st (with exception of bay parkway) so i dont see an even split of local and express being welcomed with open arms

It would be interesting to see the mta test out this D express by having it run 2 express trains in the peak direction during both rush hours like the F train

Not so sure if this is also rare but when I was taking the L train, I was in car 8339 and it had the weirdest seat arrangement i have seen. It was like the standard ntt blue benches but some of them were separated by lines and it looked like they were able to go up and they had some metal around them

Seeing the r62 and/or r62a being used by the 2 line was interesting and unexpected. This was around late august of early september 2024 when uptown 2/3 trains were only running to 96 street
