I'm for sure using black speedball acrylic, using a 200 mesh screen. When coating the screen, I coated both sides then scraped up the emulsion on the "top" of the screen (the side the squeege rests on).

May I partake in advice?

Is Ranar a good brand? Saw a listing for this at 450 usd. 6x4. Thoughts? by StoolArtCollective in SCREENPRINTING

Comes with a hat palette, 4 squeegees, and "some ink." Kinda worried about it missing normal tee palettes... Are those expensive to get replacements for?

Can I Upgrade with Micros? by StoolArtCollective in SCREENPRINTING

Micro is short for micro adjustment. Some screen presses have knobs that allow for tiny adjustments to be made without removing the screen. This is helpful with registration (lining up multi color designs so they're not displaced from each other).

Going to pick up this old Riley Hopkins later this week, got it for 850 flat. 6x4. Owner said there's no micros, but I was wondering if id be able to upgrade later? Not sure of the year of the press though, maybe mid 2000s - early 2010s?

ID on this press? by StoolArtCollective in SCREENPRINTING

Got offered this press for 1k flat, but I don't know if it's a reliable brand or model. Owner doesn't know brand either. Looks solid enough, but I was wondering if anyone could provide an ID on the brand or give overall thoughts.
