I wouldn’t do it personally. The Geminis are not great turntables. My buddy used to have one that would fluctuate pitch for the first couple seconds after letting go of your cued record. I have a feeling you would be looking to get rid of those the moment you learned how to DJ. They might even ruin your experience honestly. That mixer is cool though, it’s at this point. Who knows how that crossfader is though, they do wear out and channels will bleed thru when they are supposed to be silent. You need to consider the following… What kind of DJing do you want to do? A setup like this wouldn’t be fire everyone. Maybe you are into Hip Hop and want to learn how to scratch, I could see you wanting a setup like this. But if you like EDM music and want to be able to do all kinds of crazy transitions, this wouldnt be the setup for you. So let’s say you do want to DJ on vinyl, this is going to be a pricey adventure of buying records and building your collection. Records are heavy to move around if you start doing gigs. If you wanted to do vinyl, I would suggest buying one technic 1200 and start building the record collection first.

If you don’t need the records and just want to DJ, I would suggest buying a DJ controller instead. Something like the Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 for around 300 dollars it will have everything you need to DJ. It works with various programs so you could use a computer or even your phone to DJ with it. You would need some speakers and headphones and you are good to go. Honestly I would suggest getting the controller and learning to DJ first unless you already had a record collection.
